For whatever reason, CT had intentionally disabled the ability to resave maps in this game.

In 2013, former community member Solais had found a way to bypass the lock, and has struck a deal with CT where he recieves the permission to upload unlocked maps to the workshop, but in return shares details of the exploit with CT, so that it can be fixed in the future. And that's how it all ended.
However, for some reason, his package did not in fact include every single map. Nine (BearCity, CTF_LittleTrouble, MedievalRage, RoyalPurgatory, SV_BendOnSand, SV_DeepHole, SV_GreenField, SV_Icelander, SV_KleerBase) were missing. It appears however that peeps have found a way to edit these maps anyway, but i dunno, it wasn't trivial.

I had known it was possible to bypass the lock with sesigner but until last year one could not as it did not have support for HD signatures.

Recently I was bored and remembered about this entire ordeal. Thought for a bit, and was like, meh, whatever, might as well do it. I just thought it will be funny to release a mod like this for OGHDTSE in the year of our lord 2025.(famous last words but fr CT pls don't ban me without asking me to take the mod down first lmaoo)
