Modding guns with your top mechanic now performs based on the displayed difficulty of the mod:

• Impossible modifications will not work and will damage the gun, potentially reducing its condition to 0 if the mechanic's skill is very low.
  
• Hard modifications will work but will also reduce the gun's condition.
  
• Moderate modifications will work without damaging the gun.
  
• Easy modifications will refund half the parts (you still need all the parts to start the mod).
  
• Trivial modifications will refund all parts.

Condition loss is based on the weapon's reliability. Lower reliability results in greater condition loss from failed or hard modifications.
