Galaxy in Conflict - Remake 4.0 Ground Overhaul Submod

Galaxy in Conflict is a submod for Remake 4.0. Its goal is to make the ground fun again, rather than gruesome.

Version 0.2

Launchcodes: Steammod=3553154402 STEAMMOD=2794270450 Steammod=1770851727

This submod replaces the platoon and regiment units from the base version of Remake 4.0, breaking them down into their individual components, just as the base game did. The maps have also been reworked to accommodate ten units on the ground.
Version 0.2 finishes integrating Clone Wars Holdouts with the ground overhaul.

The following factions' regiments have been broken down for this second version:
Galactic Empire
Rebels
Zann Consortium
Seperatist Holdouts
Republic Hardliners

Future plans include allowing each faction to have its own infantry, vehicles, and aircraft through special structures. There will also be compatibility with other popular submods, such as French Fried Taters and Task Force: The Republic.

Please note that new features and changes may be implemented at any time. This is an initial test to evaluate the overall functionality of the system and determine if new units are necessary.

Known bugs:
The AI will only use speeders to form attack forces and will not build any of the new units.
The randomized starting forces script still utilizes the regiments. My in-house rule is to sell them off and only use singular units.

Im not sure if its me but I loaded up a skirmish match and galactic conquest but there wasn't a change in the units. I made the galactic conquest as the empire but after establishing a ground base with a barracks and light factory I had the armored regiment and another regiment that I think was mixed. I really like this idea you are a God send with this mod:steamhappy:

@The Colonel If you are running with any more submods that i havent tested for, there is a very high likelyhood of the mod crashing. I would advise only using Remake 4.0 and Clone Wars Holdouts. If that is already the Case, validate your gamefiles and resubscribe to all mods and submods in question.

I load up the game and after the two producer titles it crashes and sends me back to the desktop, is there a reason for this?

I feel like their ground guy could've struck gold if he just made infantry into just large "teams" in the code rather than having individual squads of three. It would've eliminated the utter chaos of micromanaging every single squad and made it closer to something like Total War. I know he tried to do something like that to vehicles but then he never committed to the idea.

Very interesting work as always GP, looking forward to how you expand on this. :)
