WM09 Probationer class Light Flat-Top Lifter

Mod/Scenario - None (Vanilla)


The ninth in my Wimpomania line of vehicles is the Probationer class Light Flat-Top Lifter. This two-person warp-capable ground vehicle transport craft can move around nearly twice its own weight in 4G environments, allowing you to deploy HVs (and, obviously, other SVs too) onto a planet's surface or pick them up off the surface and into space.






Outer Doors - Automatic (on Motion Sensors).
Inner Doors - The door leading from the Foyairlock (the airlock that is also a foyer) into both the cockpit and the habitation section, plus the door from habitation into the engine room, are all automatic (on Motion Sensors), only the "bathroom" door is manual.
Ramps - Foot ramps are automatic (on same Motion Sensors as Outer Doors); vehicle ramps are on a Signal Shortcut.

T3 CPU Extensions plus the red blocks around them in the Engine Room can be replaced with T4 CPU; the Shield (a.k.a. Polarised Hull Shield) Slot is opposite, also marked by red blocks; the thrusters can be upgraded from T1s to T2s (could probably be done without upgrading to T4 CPU, probably).



- WARNING - the "legs" contain medium thrusters that point directly into the back of the large lift thrusters, so you may lose the thrust, and therefore lift, if playing on a world or server with the "ThrustersNeedOpenSpace" game rule enabled in the settings (this is OFF by default though).

- NOTE - any Mini Fridges on board come turned off by default to save power until food is inside needing to be kept cold, and can only be turned off manually (or by turning off all power to the vehicle) from the fridge's own UI to limit instances of food being accidentally spoiled.

- (Brief) HISTORY - The first version of this ship was actually built in Starmade, and was built to carry the not-currently-in-use turrets of a larger ship - which itself has also become an Empyrion build too, the Innovator class, linked below.
