This mod aims to make corruption mean more in your campaign through it creeping into surrounding provinces.

How does this mod work?
This mod does two things.

1. It removes "corruption swing": a script in the base game that effectively changes corruption in a region based on who wins battles there. This effectively results in corruption being maxed out by the time you have taken a region and so feels like a non-issue.

2. As a province gets more corrupted, it will start to add corruption to adjacent provinces.

What are the Province creep values?
  • Lower than 50 corruption has no creep
  • Between 50 to 60 provides 1 creep
  • Between 60 and 70 provides 2 creep
  • Between 70 and 80 provides 3 creep
  • Between 80 and 90 provides 4 creep
  • 90+ provides 5 creep.

Known Issues:
  • The creep does not show up in the corruption breakdown of the affected region. I do not think this is solvable.

really like this mod but i run a rather extensive modlist that does a lot of things. I seem to suffer from random mid turn crashes most likely and this is based on my testing and understand of the engine, to having to many mods with scripts firing during the turn phase. cause theyre very random and i can keep playing when i reload and end the turn. is there any way for this to be more lightweight?

Ah ok, so it's not related to the mod, good to know. Seemed like it was bugged somehow, cause it just kept popping up every 2nd turn that a new hideout was planted.

It sounds like you got one of the new special locations that came with this patch. One is a secret chaos cult that costs an exorbitant amount of gold to remove. This isn't a normal cult building and is unrelated to the mod.

But it seems impossible to fight it, with the lowest cost for removing a building on turn 20 was 14000 and the highest was 90000 gold. Corruption was spreading with a value of 21 per turn too.

Glad the mods are making the game difficult for you :) I think that cult building is one of those ones added to the game in the last patches batch of unusual locations.
