The SSMV line of mining vessels is a staple of the modern mining industry. While these mining vessels vary in size and role, they are all built with the intention of being able to sustain themselves for days, weeks, or even indefinitely - due to their hybrid power systems of uranium and hydrogen.

SSMV-4 Humpback (an upgrade of the SSMV-3 Bowhead featuring superior planetary flight and stronger defences)

SSMV-5 Minke (a small shuttle-like miner capable of mining smaller amounts of ores for a more affordable price)

SSMV-6 Roqual (a large mining barge with a detachable cockpit that serves as the actual miner, while the rest of the ship serves as a storage)

SSMV-7 Orca (a miner/warship hybrid designed for mining in potentially dangerous areas)
