After the attack on the USS Liberty, Washington promised a swift and decisive response. Weeks of prep and intel work have now pinned down the location of Solomon Maru - leader of the Syndikat and mastermind behind the sinking. With regional partners aware of the coming US involvement in the Horizon Islands, Force Recon team "Razor" has been quietly sent in to deal with Maru before America formally enters the fight.

Our mission is to clear the roadblock of all enemy personnel, keeping our rear secure and preventing them from spotting the incoming EVAC chopper before it arrives. Once the route is clear, we will move to secure the village of Blerick, neutralize or capture Syndikat leader Solomon Maru, and detain a second, as-yet unidentified HVT for transport back to base for questioning.

Optionally, we were informed about stolen weapons and humanitarian supplies that were likely brought to Blerick. We could try to locate those as well.
