Features
  • Minimised first-person view model from Minmode - Complete Pack by MSF.
  • HD textures and new shaders from Default Weapons HD Remastered by ClipoDEL.
      The main texture is resized from 2048×2048 to 1024×1024 resolution for optimisation without noticeable visual impact. The default textures are at 1024×1024 resolution, too.
  • Softer default sounds from Warmer Weapon Sounds by gobbler.
      The deploy sound is replaced with silence because it is ugly.
  • No overexaggerated muzzle flash.
      The flashlight will NOT be flickering. Affects the world model, too.
  • Low-brightness glowing night sight (white).
      Done through creating a separate mask texture as described in this guide rather than messing with the main texture's alpha channel.
  • No scripts. Will be working online.
  • Not shiny anymore.
      And I do not care about that. Never was a fan of this weapon.
  • Somehow can be fired unrealistically quickly despite using .50 AE ammo, while having high accuracy, good effective range, infinite ammo, no accuracy and rate of fire penalty when incapacitated, two-layer penetration power, 80 damage per shot (the Mini-14 and G3SG1 deal 90) and one-shot-kill bonus against the common infected. An objectively overpowered weapon in this game in a secondary slot, which nearly breaks the game when in the hands of a skilled player.
