Deadpool's Healing Factor

描述
Deadpool's Healing Factor

Hey, you! Yeah, you, the one staring at the screen with the mouse-clicking hand. Do you like your colonists? You know, the little meat puppets you send out to get mauled by rabid squirrels or vaporized by mechanoids? Of course you do. And it probably stings a little when your best doctor gets their head lopped off, right?

Well, dry those tears, buttercup, because your favorite Merc with a Mouth is here to solve all your problems. I'm gracing your sad little RimWorld with my greatest gift (besides my stunning good looks and witty banter): My healing factor.

That's right. Your pawns can now be almost as un-killable as me. Emphasis on almost.

So, What's in the Box, Slick?

Death is Just a Coffee Break: Did your favorite pawn just become a colonist-kebab? Don't you dare go digging a grave. Just... leave 'em. My healing factor keeps working even when they're "dead." Once all their boo-boos are gone and their missing bits have sprouted back, they'll pop right back up, ready to complain about the food and lack of a flatscreen TV.

Maximum Effort Healing: Scrapes, bruises, bullet holes, missing lungs... consider them gone. Scars? Those are just ugly tattoos you didn’t ask for—we get rid of those, too. Even nasty diseases will melt away like a snowman in a volcano. Bionics and prosthetics? Untouched, baby.

Some Assembly Required (Literally): Lost an arm? A leg? Maybe a head? (It happens.) Don't sweat it! Watch as a brand-new one sprouts right back. Might wobble a bit, but it works fine soon enough.

Mood Juice (Optional!): Max out moods. No more tantrums over someone eating without a table.

The Full Deadpool Experience (Optional!): Gives pawns the Psychopath trait, because who has time for feelings when you can’t die?

Adamantium Infusion: Build the Transfusion Machine™ and pump pawns full of plasteel until their skeletons laugh at raiders' weapons. Fireproof, limb-proof, raider-proof skeleton bling.

Wolverine Claws: Retractable, stabby knuckle-blades. Settings let you tweak DPS and armor penetration so you can choose between “cosplay claws” or “all-you-can-shred buffet.”

Pets Included: Animals can now get the healing factor too. Indestructible dogs, death-defying donkeys, immortal iguanas. (Adamantium chamber for pets coming soon™.)

HOW TO USE IT!

Craft injectors at the drug lab after research, OR buy them from Exotic Traders.
Then, shove a pawn (or pet) in a bed, slap on anesthesia (optional if you like screaming), and perform the surgery.
For adamantium infusion, build the Transfusion Machine™ and bring plenty of plasteel.
For claws, just tick the setting and enjoy the shing!

The Chimichanga Menu (aka In-Game Settings)

Enable Healing: Passive healing on/off.
Enable Regrowth: Let those missing parts come back.
Boost Mood: Big smiles, fewer tantrums.
Force Psychopath: Adds Psychopath trait.
Auto-Resurrection: Corpses knit back together and rise again.
Cure Diseases: Healing factor chews through infections.
Remove Scars/Permanent Injuries: Bye-bye battle souvenirs.
Ticks Between Heals: Adjust healing tick speed.
Base Heal Amount: Adjust how much per tick.
Regrow Speed: Tweak regrowth rate.
Max Regrowing Parts: Parallel limb regrowth limit.
Adamantium Infusion Duration: How long the spa treatment lasts.
Adamantium Chamber Fuel Required: Plasteel cost per infusion.
Claw Settings: DPS and armor penetration sliders.
RimForge mod: Use Adamantium instead of Plasteel

Update Notes – Initial New Mod Release

At long last, the era of magnetism has begun.
The Magneto X-Gene is now live, granting your colonists the ability to command metal itself — to rip weapons from their enemies, orbit steel like celestial satellites, and crush all who oppose evolution.

This is the first release, so expect continued refinement and balance adjustments as the power of magnetism settles into RimWorld’s fragile ecosystem.

“Every revolution begins with a spark of metal.”

🧬 Deadpool Healing Factor Update Notes
Version: Minor Fix Patch

Fixed an issue where bodies with Adamantium skeletons could still burn away under certain conditions.
The healing factor and adamantium infusion now properly prevent destruction by fire as intended.

(Because even Adamantium shouldn’t melt that easily… unless you’re throwing colonists into a volcano, in which case — bravo.)

Update 0.0.2.1 – Shiny Metal Bones Edition
Good news, snikt-fans! I tweaked the Infusion Chamber so it now plays nice with the RimForge mod.
If you’ve got RimForge installed, the chamber automatically swaps Plasteel for Adamantium—because regular metal bones are for quitters.

But hey, if you’re the kind of person who likes to live dangerously (or just likes vanilla), there’s a shiny new toggle in the mod settings that lets you switch back to Plasteel.

No extra mods required, no weird dependencies, no “where do I get this mystery ore” nonsense.
Just pure, uncut, regeneratin’ goodness.

Now go forth and upgrade your skeletons responsibly. Or irresponsibly. I’m not your mom.

@Skylark Surprisingly I don't run a lot of mods I will look into it

I really like the mod! tho would be lovely if it has an integration with the mod RimForge allowing their use of adamantium

Honestly, I think the best way to figure out how to balance the Nightcrawler mod is just to release it and see what happens.
Fair warning though—it's completely broken right now. Like, teleports-around-doing-everything-before-you-even-blink kind of broken.
If that sounds fun (or terrifying), go check it out and see for yourself.

@Hood Glad you like it! I'm in the middle of making a Nightcrawler mod. What’s taking so long is figuring out how to balance it. Right now he just teleports everywhere and finishes tasks faster than anyone. I did add a teleport sound effect, but it got annoying pretty quick with how often he was teleporting. So as of right now it's still work in progress
