This mod adds high quality hand drawn apparels.

Headgear: Officer Visor and Slouch Hat
Onskin Tunics: Regular uniforms and Scarlet uniforms
Belts: Chestrigs

Armor Headgear: Pith helmets
Torso-Level Armor: Body Plate, Lobster (not the food kind...) and Gorget

< ======= 1.6 USERS ONLY ======= >
A new faction mod has been added. In order for it to be unlocked. You must have the Royalty DLC and the Vanilla Expanded Framework.

Two new quests similar to the empire, but different in some ways.
New ranks and titles. New permits.

Q: Will the faction in 1.6, be in 1.5 and 1.4?
A: Sadly, no... They changed some things in both versions. Frankly, it would take much more time to implement something that might not gain much traction. However, if that changes and I have the time, I’ll try to add it to those versions. Otherwise, you’ll need to upgrade to 1.6 and meet the mod requirements to unlock the faction.

Q: What’s this faction about?
A: In short, it’s an industrial faction with royal titles. Think of it as if the Shattered Empire were industrial and influenced by outlanders. It’s a close comparison, but not quite the same. You’ll have to see the faction yourself to find out!

Q: Is this mod CE compat...
A: I… have answered this question way down below. A question such as this is rare, not many dare to seek the answer to such things.










< ======= Compatibility ======= >
I haven’t tested CE in 1.5 with the new apparel changes, so perhaps try it with the autopatcher. As for 1.6, CE hasn’t been updated yet, so no attempts will be made until it is. It should be compatible with most things. However, it’s more than just an apparel mod (if the Empire faction is unlocked), so please report any errors.

Deserters from the VFE - Empire?
If so, then no. Since they're both neutral factions from my understanding.

If you want to change that. I highly recommend Faction Customizer

Here is what I did with that mod: Enable development mode, open the FC menu, enable "Dev: Show all" then click "Modify" on Deserters. After that, you should be able to change the relationship between the two.

@Elijah ah, that makes sense. It might be an error that's only uncovered when I try to use the permits (that's when the error gets logged), rather than something to do with or caused by Commonwealth. Or there's some other weird mod interaction. Thanks for looking into it!

No problem, thank you for the report. I think you might be right on that. For some strange reason VFE and VRE Androids patches to the InfoCard are clashing with each other.

Thus, when the game tries to open up the permit menu, it got nothing and expected something. Best reported with the Vanilla Expanded Team.

Sadly, I wasn't able to reproduce the error :(

@Elijah, thanks for getting back to me! Sadly, the permits tab doesn't load at all. But I just noticed an error which points to Vanilla Races Expanded - Androids as a likely culprit. I'll post it in a separate message. I disabled the Shattered Empire faction on world gen, in case that's relevant. Let me know if you need more info - and no worries if it takes a moment to look into

Hello! When you click on "Choose permit", does it take you to the "Permits" tab? If so, did you change the faction on that tab to the Commonwealth Empire instead of other factions with permit systems, like the Shattered Empire?

Hi elijah, thanks for the cool mod! Not sure if this is an error or if I'm missing something: my waster mechanitor just became a knight in the commonwealth but I can't seem to choose permits. The link to choose permits takes me to a pawn info screen?
