Next-Scares (Nextbot Jumpscares)

NOTICE: This mod has been put on the back burner. Its not getting updated anytime soon until I finish more important things

This mod serves as a complimentary feature to those "Nextbot chase effect" addons, making it so your character "gets scared" when a nextbot appears suddenly at close range. The screen will lighten up a little for a brief moment and your view will shake, accompanied by 1 of 4 sounds. And yes, DrgBase, as with anything that returns IsNextBot() as true, will work.

No console variables at the moment, will be added soon though.



Please, make any errors you encounter known or give me new addon recommendations in the comments. This addon is much older (about a year old, the old code was SPAGHETTI) than its post date, so its kinda in a "beta" phase. It could have some bugs, but i reprogrammed and nicely optimized it so it shouldnt be anything too bad.



FOR MULTIPLAYER: It will work, but the first time you spawn you will get a constant error loop. Currently, dying and respawning fixes this, but the next update will fix this, along with reworking basically the rest of the mod. (UPDATE: should be fixed, just let me know if there's anything else wrong I'm unaware of.)


Whats next for this addon?: The stupid config menu and some experimental tweaks I'm still play-tesing to FULLY ensure jumpscares only happen when they should happen.
