I've previously made a terminal-application for updating mod-collections on Steam for keeping my "Current play-through"-list updated.
Then I overheard someone talking about wanting a way to create mod-collections more easily based on their current modlist.
So I created this mod for it!

In this mods settings, you can save the current mod-list to a steam-collection.
The mods are added to the collection in the current load-order and any existing mods on the list are removed.
The mod will skip itself when adding mods to the collection.

It of course requires you to play with an active steam-login and only the mods that are published on Steam are added to the collection. Maximum mods in a collection is 1000.

Got it, I can manually add the missing files to alleviate this problem

@meandSSH The mod doesnt check the filesystem, it just checks if the game considers its a steam mod as it cant add/remove it from collections otherwise.
Checking if each reference is a mod or collection takes time so if there are many collection it would just stall the game.

The text and count also need to be modified: it should now exclude the number of linked collections

Sorry to bother you again, but I found that some mods were always overlooked (after repeated subscriptions and unsubscriptions), seemingly due to their missing PublishedFileId.txt:

Is there any possible fallback method to get the workshop ID? Such as the parent directory name

Is it possible to change only the mod items in a collection without removing the collections linked to it?

Thank you for this mod, I think it is one of the most useful mods that exist in the RimWorld workshop.
