The Ferrari 612 Scaglietti is a luxurious grand tourer that seamlessly blends Ferrari’s iconic V12 performance with elegant styling and daily usability. Introduced in 2004 as the successor to the Ferrari 456M, the 612 Scaglietti was designed to offer a true 2+2 seating configuration, providing ample space for passengers while still delivering the exhilarating performance expected from a Ferrari.

Performance and Engineering
At its heart lies a 5.7-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, producing an impressive 540 horsepower at 7,250 RPM and 588 Nm of torque at 5,250 RPM. Power is sent to the rear wheels through either a 6-speed manual gearbox or an F1-style 6-speed automated manual transmission, delivering lightning-fast shifts. The 612 Scaglietti accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 4.0 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 320 km/h (199 mph). Its near-perfect 54/46 weight distribution ensures superb handling characteristics, making it as agile on twisty roads as it is stable at high-speed cruising.

Design and Bodywork
The design, crafted by Pininfarina, pays homage to the legendary Ferrari 375 MM built for Italian director Roberto Rossellini and actress Ingrid Bergman. The body features flowing curves, a long front bonnet, and elegant proportions that exude both luxury and sportiness. Constructed entirely from aluminum, both the chassis and body panels help reduce weight while increasing structural rigidity.

Interior and Luxury
Inside, the 612 Scaglietti offers a refined and spacious cabin, designed for long-distance touring in comfort. The interior is adorned with premium leather upholstery, high-quality materials, and advanced infotainment systems for its time. Unlike many Ferraris before it, the 612 truly accommodates four adults, making it one of the most practical models in the lineup.
