VA-111 Shkval

描述
The Shkval ("squall") is a high-speed supercavitating rocket-propelled torpedo designed to be a rapid-reaction defense against U.S. submarines undetected by sonar. It can also be used as a countermeasure to an incoming torpedo, forcing the hostile projectile to abruptly change course and possibly break its guidance wires. The torpedo has a nearly flat, conical disk at its nose that creates the gas cavity for supercavitation. The disk tilts to help guide the weapon and keep it stable. The cavity is supported by rockets venting just abaft the cavitator. Four popout cylinders toward the aft end of the nose section keep the body of the torpedo stable and out of contact with the walls of the bubble in which it rides. At the rear of the torpedo are deflected control surfaces. Eight small rockets surround the main sustainer rocket. The Shkval is fired from the standard 533-mm torpedo tube at a depth of up to 328 ft (100 m). The rocket-powered torpedo exits the tube at 50 knots (93 kmh) and then ignites the rocket motor, propelling the weapon to speeds four to five times faster than other conventional torpedoes.

The torpedo is guided by an autopilot rather than by a homing head as on most torpedoes.

The mod simply adds the torpedo weapons, you will have to manually add the weapon to submarines of your choice. To do that, go into StreamingAssets/original/vessels, go into the .ini file relative to the sub you want to add the torpedo to, go to the WeaponMagazines section. You will find something like this:

Now, you can either replace the wp_65-76 with wp_va-111, or you can addo a new ammunition to the magazine. The result will look like this

What is the warhead & how does it work? is it not a nuke as i believe its supposed to be - if not how does it make contact?

i don't think there's a problem with sealifter cause i didn't have any problem yet despite the updates. Did you correctly install anchor chain? And yes you do have to find the asset folder, but the path is in the description, you just have to find the sub to which you want to give the torpedo. Assets don't need to be manually installed

Yes, I did everything mentioned but it seems there is a bug with Sealifter, I don't know if it's my computer or the new update.

Yes it should still work. Still needs anchor chain and sealifter. Did you write something similar to the code in the description?

For me, the torpedo has no model. Do I need any additional mods like sealifter or anchor chain?

Yeah, I follow the instructions but dont appears in the game, I am gonna remove some other mods, maybe is that
