Play as the Berber resistance fighter of Algeria, Lalla Fatma; in Sid Meier's Civilization VI.

Kabyles are an ancient people of Barbary nestled in the mountains between modern Algeria and Tunisia. These Berbers never submitted to a foreign power until the French pacified Algeria in the 1800s. Before colonisation, Kabylia was a loose confederation of various tribes, even the Arabic term "Qaba'il" means "tribes," with some emirates such as Kuku and Ait Abbas coexisting with Ottoman subjects in Algiers proper. Going into the modern era, Kabyles continued to exist on the mountainous region between Algiers and Constantine. No amount of Arabisation has divorced the tribes from their Berber ways.

  • Requires: Gathering Storm, Maya and Gran Colombia Civilization Pack, and Great Builders Leader Pack.
  • Is multiplayer compatible.

    LEADER: LALLA FATMA
  • Trait - Miraculous Cures: Building an Encampment, Harbour, Holy Site, their buildings, or a religious unit grants all military units 1 Experience that turn.
  • Agenda - Maiden of Djurdjura: Likes civilizations with an elite, highly-promoted army. Dislikes civilizations without an elite, highly-promoted army.

    CIVILIZATION: KABYLIA
  • Trait - Asefru: Cannot recruit Great Artists or Great Musicians. Theatre Squares do not gain adjacency from districts or wonders. Theatre Squares gain standard adjacency from all Desert tiles, gain Food equal to their adjacency, and grant +2 Housing. Amphitheatres gain 2 Great Work of Writing slots. Great Works of Writing gain +2 Food and +400% Tourism.
  • Alt Names - Al Qabail, Leqbayel, Izawawen, Kuku, Ait Abbas, and Makronids.
  • Spawn Bias - Desert Hills (Tier 1), Desert Mountain (Tier 2), Desert/Plains (Tier 3), Plains Hills (Tier 4), Plains Mountains (Tier 5).

    CIVILIZATION UNIT: SIDI
  • Replaces the Inquisitor. Costs 5 Faith maintenance. Military and religious units within 2 tiles gain +1 Movement and +5 Combat or Religious Strength.

    CIVILIZATION DISTRICT: TAJMAAT
  • Replaces the Commercial Hub. +1 Trade Route capacity and the city can build 2 more districts than the Population limit allows if there is a Harbour in the city. Standard Gold and Faith adjacency from Hills and Mountains. Must be built on a Hill tile.

You are aware that Afroasiatic civilizations are in focus now, Chrabaszcz6. My release schedule is not arbitrary.

Can you do leaders with civilizations for Illyrians, Germanic tribes and Etruscans? With special abilities and units???? The civilizations I mentioned are not randomly chosen; no one has made it yet, and for example, they were playable in civ5 and other games. each of these civilizations played an interesting role in antiquity - they fought wars againts Rome and other great empires, and they had diverse and orginal cultures.they also had land-based military formations that stood out with their distinctive weaponery. the game id missing a mod that would introduce more diversity when it comes to shields. I believe that introducing different shield models based on civilizaton's origin would greatly increase the diversity of gameplay especially when it comes to spearman and sworsman. hexagonal, oval, and other historically accurate shields from antiquity would really change the look of the game
