Escape Room

描述
Welcome to probably the very first Escape Room ever made in SE!

Your objective is to escape using the Railgun Turret. However, the Railgun is in a state of disrepair, misaligned, uncharged, and unloaded. You will acquire what you need from the surrounding rooms to prepare the Railgun, but much of it is stuck behind puzzles and codes. Time to put your reasoning abilities to the test!

You can play alone or in teams, though one player would have to be responsible for certain tasks.

The time limit to beat this Escape Room is 1hr and 15 min (based on in-person testing)

This Escape Room involves welding with certain components. To play it properly, go in a SURVIVAL world, and in the alt-F10 menu you can use creative tools to paste the Escape Room and then go back to survival. If you don't trust yourself to not hack the game by accessing control panels, you may also check the "keep original ownership on paste" when placing it, otherwise just be a good sport.

After pasting the Escape Room, before starting, go to the inside of the box through the doors on the bottom and activate the Safe Zone, which should prevent damage and grinding.

Before entering, drop all items in your inventory; you will acquire a welder inside.

Since it's in survival, the outer box is meant to be pressurized to limit energy loss, regardless the entry door will drop Powerkits and O2 Bottles to help keep you alive while you're inside.

This Escape Room also has puzzles that involve color, which may make it difficult for colorblind players.

Some puzzles involve dropping items into collectors. Be aware that there can be an issue when you stand too close to a block when dropping the item, as it might fly off and get lost (thanks Clang)

This was made possible with 273 timers and 34 events. Each puzzle is categorized by letter in the control panel, so if you wanted to analyze each puzzle to see how it works, you can do so. It would be too much to explain everything here.

Thanks! It took about 3 weeks total (I had a lot of free time) to brainstorm, make each puzzle, and piece them all together. All the passwords and other puzzles use timers, events, and other blocks which you can see in the control panel categorized by letter. For details you can look into all their setup actions. Specifically I also published the 4 digit code lock blueprint that explains how it works in the description.

Played it and beat it. Very clever, and must have taken a lot of time to create. Great job, I really enjoyed it! How did you do the passwords?
