描述
From bakers for bakers.

Making bread with the improved breadboard editor was never that easy!


BreadThing is fully compatible with vanilla.
Mod can be removed at any time - bread made with the mod will work without it.


Main features:
  • Multiselect components.
  • Copy/paste components with intact connections between them.
  • Breadcrumbs - prefabs for bread (and you can share them as images via clipboard).
  • Inputs/outputs of any component can be plotted on a graph (especially good for PID).
  • nO cAPS lOCK.
  • Draw and print text on screen outside of bread editor.
  • Font size changes with zoom level - no more overlapping mess at high zoom.
  • BreadEternal - easy and lag-free redundant breads.
  • Numerous new components (still vanilla compatible!). To name a few: collision avoidance, detailed Target Info for any target, and yes, even elusive Power level and unique Id.

Numerous improvements to UI, new shortcuts, bookmarks, customizable component inventory layout, and much more.

New components are Printers with specific text in them.
There should be in-game guides at the bottom right.

In short:
Add Printer, write in it keywords for what you need - and Printer will start outputting as a new component.
(Without the mod, in vanilla, Printer will behave as normal Printer)

been using this for a while, and I love lots of the changes, but... how do I use the added components? They aren't on the list...

Would there be any way to add some sort of search system that will highlight or move the camera to all instances of the component you’re looking for? It would be really helpful for big and complex Breadboards! An included filter would be a cool feature too, like it would only highlight Comments that have the text “Cheese”! :3

I've never noticed Adds being out of order. Easy fix.
Grid typing... It's a mystery that been there for a year now - no ETA ))

T for "reopen bread" already can be rebind, since v1.3.2.

Please add ability to change keybinds for the mod, T is on an awkward bind, while I'm using legacy Camera Control (View & Control settings menu of vanilla FTD) I can't control aircraft with that key like I'm used to.

Slightly annoyed at the inconsistent ordering of 'add input' and 'add output', I haven't checked every single component but most notably on a math eval the add output button is on left, input on the right, rather than like for example sum and multiply where it's the more sensible input then ouput (as is consistent with the components on the board themselves, inputs are always on the left),

Also grid size can't be set by typing in the new number, I have to use the slider which is annoyingly precise since it's biased so heavily towards larger numbers rathern than smaller like I want

Weird bug: if you take a math evaluator or a multiply, possible others, I haven't tested them all, and right click onto a comment block it'll mess with the result font size that gets drawn on all the breadboard lines. After just a couple misclicks and the breadboard is unviewable, and the only way I've found to fix it is to restart the game.

Hm...
Strange, it seems to be working for me on Alpha.
I'll put some debugging into game logs next time.
Keep me posted if mod will misbehave again.
