Vakkerstaal Royal (VSR) presents the ME-48 "Hog", an aerodynamic prototype and proof of concept for swept, high wings being viable. It was a success - for the ones who bet against it, that is. Although it can fly, its aerodynamic stability is severely lacking, making recovering from extreme manoeuvres difficult compared to more standard wing configurations.
