Cornette captivated the ire and hostility of Wrestling fans around the country as the heel manager of the legendary tag team The Midnight Express. Feeding off the heat of his audiences, Cornette dressed the part of a spoiled mama's boy who looked down on rival Wrestlers and their fans with antics that induced riots.

Today, Jim Cornette is regarded as one of the greatest heel managers of all time alongside other legends such as Mr. Fuji, Paul Heyman, and Bobby The Brain Heenan.
