Also, billboard animations now automatically detect the correct order of displays, so you can use the plane building mode and don't need to care about the order when creating the group.
Everything should work more or less out of the box. You didn't mention what you were trying to do that didn't end up working, so here are some general hints.
If nothing happens when you run a script with the "play" argument, check that the targeted block / block group name matches the name used in-game. If it doesn't match, the script will also print a message in its control panel when recompiling.
For billboards to work correctly, the grouped displays have to be placed row by row, starting from the bottom left. Then, they need to be selected in the same order when creating the block group.
I will try to write up some more thorough instructions and add them to the site.
