MEPR: Mass Effect Static Backgrounds & Menu Music

This mod replaces the default HL2 Menu Backgrounds with Static ones, along with menu music, from the Mass Effect Trilogy. Most of the images used were captured by me in-games. There are about 11/12 individual backgrounds.

!!!!!!! IMPORTANT !!!!!!!! - Due to the way HL2 Workshop manager works, you will only see the backgrounds after loading a map/episode, most probably without the music.
To get around that and have both backgrounds AND music on startup, follow these steps:
1. Subscribe to the mod
2. After the mod has been downloaded, navigate to steam>steamapps>workshop>content>220
3. In the 220 folder, locate the folder named 3537413764. Inside it there should be two files: workshop_dir and workshop_000
4. Copy those two files into the steam>steamapps>common> Half Life 2>hl2>custom. If you don't have a custom folder, simply create one.
5. After copying the files into the custom folder, rename them into me_backgrounds (or any name really). They then should look like this: me_backgrounds_dir and me_backgrounds_000.

You can also use GCFScape:
0. Download and launch GCFScape
1. Subscribe to the mod
2. After the mod has been downloaded, navigate to steam>steamapps>workshop>content>220
3. In the 220 folder, locate the folder named 3537413764. Inside it there should be two files: workshop_dir and workshop_000
4. Drag and Drop the workshop_dir file into the GCFScape. You should see the root folder and it's contents
5. Extract the root folder wherever you like, then navigate to steam>steamapps>common> Half Life 2>bin
6. In the bin folder, locate the vpk.exe
7. Drag and Drop the root folder into the vpk.exe, it should create a root.vpk file in the folder where you extracted the root folder.
8. Rename the root.vpk into me_backgrounds.vpk (or any name really)
9. Place the me_backgrounds.vpk into the steam>steamapps>common> Half Life 2>hl2>custom. If you don't have a custom folder, simply create one.
