No Useless Skills

This mod will update the skills for every class. Looking to do Updates Weekly on Monday\Tuesday.

---Paladin---

Blessed Strikes: Increased CD, Bigger, Melee Tag added, Slower Fire Ticks on Purging Flames. Lightning jumps further.

Lay on Hands: Turn Undead renamed to Turn the Wicked, Hits all enemies.

Conviction: Conviction and Zeal now procs on all Melee Tags. Resolve now checks if you are below half mana instead of half health.

Armored Knight: Wrath gives speed instead of Bad Thorns, Glancing Buffed to 10/20/30.

Divine Pillars: Doubled the bonus lightning damage

Divine Protection: Divine Avengers Pillars can now proc any time you are below 50% health with a 1 second cooldown.

Immolation: Made a repeatable ability and removed charge mechanic, re-balanced numbers, made Inner Flame charges Buff increase radius instead.

Inner Flames: Starts at 6 Caps at 10.

Judgement: Prolonged Prosecution renamed to Speedy Trial now increases Justice rate of fire. Hammer of Wrath increased to 25/50/100

Lawbringer: Punish the Wicked now also procs on Bleeding and Slow.

---Sorcerer---

Elemental Orb: Base orb now projects 1 missile. Elemental Torrent now upgrades to 3/5/7. Adaptive Orb replaced with Diverging Forces which now fires a Fire, Ice and Lightning orb that each do 50% of Orbs damage

Elemental Affinity: Base gives Elemental Penetration instead of Elemental Damage Bonus for better end game scaling. Equilibrium now gives current Elemental Bonus of Affinity element to other elements.

Innate Power:Uncontrolled Power now gives 20/40/80 % of your Spell Crit to Weapon Crit while wielding an Arcane Weapon.

Fire Mastery: Volatile now triggers x2.5 more often for x3 damage.

Fire Wall: Flamewalker damage increases and buff increases Spell Crit Damage. Fire Wall Placement distance increased

Frost Nova: Cool Down changed to 3s. Frost Seekers chance changed to 40/80 %. Frost Splinters chance updated to 50/100%

Ice Mastery: Ice Block now is 100% chance to block a percent of Fire, Ice, and Lightning damage. Ice Shards now aim in direction of attack. Shatter replaced with Freezing Mists which has a 10% chance to make an Ice Orb on kill.

Lightning Ball: Removed Charges portion of spell. Increased Cooldown to 10s. Reworked Static Field into Rejuvenating Charge which instead gives Health and Mana on Lightning Ball kills.

Lightning Mastery: Null Field is now a guaranteed chance to reduce a portion of damage; Cooldown times reduced. Chain and Damage chances increased.

I've been poking around in this mod to do some modifications to the Paladin Divine alignment. As a heads up, at least two of the skill modifications, Divine Protection Retort and Blessed Strike Purging Flames, have description modifications but not actual changes.

To modify the Purging Flames tick rate, you need to modify players/paladin/units/blessed_strike_fire_area.unit "freq" variable.

I did something much different with Retort, so my changes won't apply here.

Love the changes in general, although I do have to say that the speed boost from Righteous Fury feels too strong. The third tier gives a 40% boost to move speed, attack speed, and casting speed. That's a BIG can of whoopass to just automatically pop open every time something looks at you funny.

@DudemanSupreme This will make the game easier by raising the floor, but the goal is to not raise than the ceiling in general. There are several specializations and perks that are not used at all because there is a large power disparity between them and everything else.

The effort here is to rework those so while not every perk choice is useful all the time, there is a time an place where it will be good.

That being said, the Paladin and Sorcerer as the weakest endgame classes did need a significant update to get them on par with other classes.

Any thoughts on the next class I should work on? Currently thinking either Rogue or Ranger.
