Non-Sticky Unit Selection

描述
Disables the "sticky" unit selection behavior, in other words it allows to clear current unit selection by clicking on any empty plot on the map, which is the standard behavior in most strategy games, or at least optionally available, but not in Civilization VII which at the moment forces the sticky selection as the only available behavior.

i have problem selecting 2nd unit on the same tile with this mod. how to select it? i.e. commander & war unit stack on the same tile. thanks.

thats so sad. unit flags mod was amazing. by far the most needed. can't go back to the shitty original design. I regularly come in here to see if there is any update. maybe in the next update they sort this out

sad... your units flag and bars mods is really one of the best (if not the best) mods for Civ VII : so polish, so beautiful and so much better UI design by far!
I hope you'll find the time in the futur, I really can't play without it anymore

Sorry everyone, I just spent 3 hours painfully working through the absurdly large amount of changes to my other mod (unit flags and bars), and it's truly unfeasible for me to update it: it would take a stupidly long time and effort, which I simply do not have.

I know some people truly loved it as much as I did, as we discussed on CivFanatics a while ago.
It pains me to say that for the moment, I won't be reuploading the mod, it requires a full rewrite, which isn't in the cards at the moment.

I will keep this mod up and updated though, as it is a very small mod in terms of it's scope, quite easy to update even when I don't actively play Civ7 (took me a matter of minutes after the debugging console got fixed by Fireaxis).

Unfortunately the latest update didn't just change a bunch of lines of code: it overhauled how pretty much everything works for UI stuff. The mod might very well require either a rewrite or a lot of changes, at a minumum.

I most definitely do not have that kind of time at the moment. I can't say for sure if I will discontinue it or eventually rewrite it, but certainly I didn't want to leave it uploaded and broken for an indeterminate amount of time.

i will take a look at it tomorrow. If there's a way to salvage it without a total rewrite, I will re-upload. If not, I am not sure I can support complex mods on a game that is in such huge flux.

I'll keep you posted for sure, one way or the other.

May I ask what happened to your other mod (alt-unit-flags-and-bars)? It broke the game on 1.2.4, so I disabled it, and I see that now it's gone from the Workshop?

Are you planning on updating it? It's an absolutely incredible mod, which makes Civ 7 so much easier on the eyes. Fingers crossed!

Fireaxis fixed the dev-console so the update is ready and uploaded, should work just fine with v1.2.4-patch1.

Let me know if there's any issue with it!
