🧭 GAZ-AA Truck – Overview and History
The GAZ-AA was a Soviet military cargo truck produced from 1932 onwards. It was a licensed copy of the American Ford Model AA, adapted for Soviet production at the Gorky Automobile Plant (GAZ). It became one of the most common and iconic Soviet vehicles of the 1930s and 1940s.

Known for its simplicity, durability, and ease of repair, even in poor field conditions.

Produced in both civilian and military versions, including variants with all-metal bodies, radio trucks, and even anti-aircraft mounts.

Nicknamed "полуторка" ("Polutorka") by Soviet soldiers, referring to its 1.5-ton capacity.
