This is not a balanced map. I tried my best to work with what I have (start locations, throne locations, etc) but maintaining the integrity of the original reference material was my higher priority. The most notable issue was having both Durotar and Mulgor as race starting locations due to their close proximity, and only having The Barrens between them. Thus Durotar was swapped out for Feralas. In response the Isle of Dread has been added as its own territory, despite technically being a part of Feralas itself.

The decision to not add sea tiles was intentional despite me being an avid sea player. If you wish to play with a map that has sea tiles included, I encourage you to make a version of the map yourself and use it to play, or to check out the 'Advanced' version of this map. A link can be found below.

Recommended players 2 to 6

The base art file was found on Google, though tracking down its original source and creator has proven to be next to impossible, as it's been shared and spread online for years. If you are the original author of the artwork, send me a DM and I'll gladly reference you.

The original .xcf file is located in the download, which can be opened using GIMP. If you make any modifications and upload it to the workshop, please take steps to differentiate it from my work. Crediting me with the original is appreciated but not necessary.
