I build a base on a lake north of "Fallas Lake".my base had two story. I set mod config by default. I stay in my base on 2nd floor when menace point hit 100. But they just spawn 7-8. then next I test it by wait them in a car not in a base on lake. This time they spawn by it should be. i assumed they spawn about 60-70 that it between max and min (50-100).
Autre point : dans "here they come", le lua générait un "son inaudible" pour le joueur de telle sorte que les Z étaient attirés vers le joueur pendant un certain laps de temps, tu as utilisé la même technique ?
Encore merci pour ton taff !
In general my thinking is a big horde event that goes right past or near the player, as if they're following a sound from far away and the player happens to be nearby. I prefer they do not target the player directly, but pass within or around the player's location. Like, draw a line from one side of the city to the other, with the player's position at the center add or subtract a few tiles. Especially because if the zombies are targeting the player, you must do something like defend a point or just drive away. Having a hoard pass BY, makes it dangerous to walk outside, you must be alert when you go into the city in case a hoard happens, and you have to make sure you have food, water and shelter - and if you don't, you'll have to form some plan to escape!
I wish they would just spawn and pass by. Give the feeling of being passed by a river of zombies and hope they don't notice you. It would be so scary and exciting.
