- Just 3 Sinkholes, down from 10
- Of the Cave Entrances on the Surface, one will be in the Swamp, one in the Deciduous Forest, and one in the Second Forest, the one without the Moon Stone, just like in Don't Starve!
- In the Caves, the transitional sunken forest biomes are all removed. One set of stairs will lead to the Rock Lobster biome, one will lead to the Bat Biome with tall Stalagmites, and one to the Stalagmite biome with Cave spiders

You'll find everything a lot more nostalgic, on the one hand the three DS Sinkhole locations, and on the other hand a much cleaner cave, without those bizarre biomes that cause so much sprawl. And then, a really appealing sense of simplicity of only having three sinkholes, definitely more realistic on the topology than the way that, in Vanilla, ten arbitrary points on the surface can correspond to ten random points underneath.

Hey Krypt1cc I have been working on that from time to time. the main problem is that with modding you either do one single fix that everybody can understand, or you arrange different things together in some sort of harmony. I'm still missing a few ideas. I'll see what I can do for you. For the reference, if you want to recreate the effect with the Worlgen Tweaker mod https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3382934201 what I did was I increased the background node range, removed the sinkhole biomes and the PitRoom

Hi, there were some other differences than just the roads, like a lot of the biomes removed and bridges removed, so the cave generation was much more compact. I liked these changes as they removed a lot of the biomes that I think make the cave unnecessarily large. I hope you can upload a new mod with these changes or some other way to access them.

Hey Krypt1cc, sorry about that! I had uploaded a version in progress with some of the fixes just thrown in there. I've remove the fixes and linked the mods to do them in the description so you can toggle them as you like

Hi, this mod seems to currently force roads and change the cave generation in many other ways than what's shown in the screenshots you've shared. I like most of the changes! but it would be nice if you could explain them in the description and share an up to date screenshot.

huh I did not know thank you. It's most likely from DST or is much more recently made. I can tell you for a fact that is not from DS

I found it on the wiki, it's supposed be from the World Settings screen for the option of caves. I get the impression that it dates from DS.
