The puzzles were fine (the few it had), but it was mostly an item hunt. I did enjoy the smaller touches like lighting the candles in the skull for a few goodies. That said, it took me way longer than I’d like to admit to find the rusty key. The dog was very annoying, since it never shut up.
The story was good, and I followed it for the most part except for small things like what happened to the dad was he the grunt? Sole Protector having voice acting was unexpected and made me laugh because of how funny it sounded. I also enjoyed the small touches like the “Look at me, I’m a pet :D”.
Overall, I give it a 6/10!
