This guide will walk you through all choices and actions you have to make with ALL 102 characters in order to befriend them. No longer will you need to google everyone individually or scrub through Youtube videos looking for the answers you need. It's all right here in alphabetical order. This will be a thorough guide that will spoil most of the game.

Depending on your individual achievements, this guide will also give you also additional illusive trophies 😊

I am writing this guide just using everyone’s names and not what they are, but if people would like I am happy to write a separate guide for everyone’s locations. There may be more ways to befriend people, but this guide is what I found worked the best.

Abel

Our old fashioned table’s friendship is most easily won by hooking him up with Dasha. To do that, you’ve got to befriend Dasha first. For ease, Dasha's section is next.

**Abel interactions and Dasha interactions can go in whatever order you please. I recommend doing them in order ( Ex: Dasha interaction 1, Abel interaction 1, Dasha interaction 2, Abel interaction 2,…) to make keeping track of everything easier. However, if you bounce around it won’t impact anything.

Avoid certain interactions with Abel, that will prevent him from developing romantic feelings for you. Don’t talk to Abel beyond initial dialogue at each of his locations.

Interaction 1 (Character intro- Bedside):
  • Any option
  • “I’m just getting to know everyone…” OR “Do you have any dating advice?”
  • “You the old fashioned type?”
  • “Me either.”
  • Either option

Abel (quest) will send you to Kopi.

Interaction 2 (Upstairs Hallway):
  • “You seem peppy today.” OR “Sunshine?”
  • “It’s so nice she gets you.”

Talk to Kopi who’ll give you coffee for Abel (this interaction will happen automatically after Abel sends you there if you have met Kopi before)

Interaction 3 (Dining Room):
  • Either option
  • Either option

Abel (quest) will send you to Jacques.
Talk to Jacques who’ll tell you Abel’s boring (again, if you’ve met before this’ll happen automatically)


Interaction 4 (Living Room):
  • Either option
  • “Right, Dasha…”
  • “I think you’re more interesting…”

DO NOT TALK TO ABEL IN THE UPSTAIRS HALL, DINING ROOM, OR BEDROOM UNTIL DASHA IS YOUR FRIEND!!

After befriending Dasha talk to any Abel and demand he ask Dasha out.

  • “Because…”

* Warning: IMO you have to lead Dasha on a bit to befriend her. And yes, you do have to hurt her feelings. She takes it in stride while still telling you she’s confused and disappointed, which is completely warranted with what you have to do. I could find no other way to befriend Dasha other than to go along with her practice dates and choosing the most romantic options! All others lead to HATE eventually if not right away. I don’t like hurting people’s feelings, even fictional people. But that’s a me problem lol. At least there are opportunities to wingman for Abel. Anywho…

Interaction 1:

The order of date locations does not matter. The choices do!!

Interaction 2:

Dasha Interaction (Abel Quest)

This interaction occurs after you talk to Kopi about Abel. This interaction is necessary to befriend Abel but does not have a set time to occur in Dasha's story.

It starts with "Hey Dasha...", then choose:
  • "I just want..."
  • Either option
  • "You really know him well..."
  • "You guys sure..."

Interaction 3:
  • “Yes. Practice…”
  • “A restaurant.”
  • “Hell yeah…”
  • “I ask…”
  • “…Arm wrestling…”
  • “Winner.”
  • Either Option

Interaction 4:
  • "Yeah, 'practice dates..."
  • "A strip club."
  • "..Wings."
  • "I lean in..."
  • "I tip..."

Interaction 5:
  • "I give..."
  • "Anyone kissing you..."
  • "I ask you if you'd like to watch a movie..."
  • "Now it's your turn..."

Dasha Interaction 6
  • "Interesting..."

She will accept being friends but take it hard. Now go to the nearest table and demand Abel ask Dasha out instead!

You'll need to talk to Abel and then come back over to Dasha. Just let them talk.

Still no more lonely days for Dasha <3



Airyn
Airyn

Upon even more investigation, depending on when you speak to Airyn, you may get her ending conversation (4th interaction) immediately.

Interaction 1:
  • Either option

Interaction 2:
  • "Damn, that's cool."

Interaction 3:
It can be really easy to accidentally get a HATE ending with Airyn if you don’t understand what she is looking for.
  • Airyn is counting the number of times you select the option “…” while talking to the other dateables.
Through out events with other characters, you will be given the ellipsis (…) as an option to respond to when they ask for feedback.
  • Ex: Character- The sky is green right?
  • Yes

  • "..." <- Select this option during any conversation with anyone to get points with Airyn.

    Interaction 4:
    Once you gain enough points (by selecting "..." 10x) with Airyn she will tell you she is happy when you speak to her again.

    Choose “…” until you get the option to choose “Wait... are you falling in love with me?”

    Select that option. She will confirm she is, and then you can ask to be friends with her instead, which she will accept.

Arma is a content aware character. You can skip the story with no consequence and become friends right away.


If not skipping: Save for later until you can pass a high SPECS check.

** These are the only options I found that work. It's so easy to get her to HATE you, and the only difference I found between getting her FRIEND or LOVE ending is ONE CHOICE toward the very end and it's not clear you're essentially choosing between friendship or love at that point in the story. For Bathsheba if there's a miss click somewhere you're gonna have to reload a save.

Welp, all you have to do is tell him NO.

Crisis averted the trophy is yours!

But...you can still get the trophy and say yes to Dorian if you want. You just need to save him until after you already have a Friendship ending with everyone else.

You'll still satisfy the needs of the achievement because Dorian befriended you, and gave you the friendship ending first. :)

Kopi has the MOST interactions in the game. You need to order each drink 3x each, and have a few more conversations after this. Additionally, if you've spoken to Abel he'll immediately send you to Kopi. Progression in Kopi's story will pause and she'll give you a coffee for Abel.

It does not matter what order you choose to order the drinks. You can order each drink x3 in a row (ex. Latte, Latte, Latte) or you can bounce around (ex. Latte, Affogato, Irish coffee). Just make sure you know the answer to Kopi's questions when you order the drink for the 3rd time.

    • Make sure those stats are different or you'll soft lock yourself from the trophy and won't be able to realize everyone.

    Do NOT undo these HATE endings before you Realize Reggie.
    • Reggie is Rejection. They want to be friends with a fellow hater and will think you're lame and HATE you if you undo them while they're still in the house.

    After realizing Reggie you are free to undo those hate endings with candy from Keith.

    * I recommend saving Reggie until toward the end, since it's best practice to Realize Reggie right away so you don't forget, undo a HATE ending, and then have to get a new one (been there- days lost). Plus Skylar has some special dialogue if you Realize Reggie first lol. I recommend one of those folks you make hate you on purpose be Jean Loo. You get an automatic HATE ending with him if you fail his rap battle. Fail it on purpose. Then after Reggie leaves and you can ask Jean Loo for 2nd chance to beat him, and he'll accept. Undoes the HATE ending. No candy required. Not sure if there are other characters who'll give you a free second chance, but I haven't run into any.

If you miss click you have to reload a save. This is the literal only way I've found to do it.

    Save Washford and Drysdale for later so you can pass a [25 SMARTS] check.

    * Like Abel and Dasha, I also recommend going back and forth between Washford and Drysdale (Washford 1, Drysdale 1, Washford 2, Drysdale 2...) to keep track of things.

    But there's definitely other ways to do things. I'm just sharing my way. Certainty not insisting that my way is the only way for a vast majority of characters :)

    i just got Lux in 1 interaction. Cant tell you full walkthrougth but I just appeased them and asked about their routine. And BOOM we're friends

    hello!! for reggie, i'm pretty sure there's a way to befriend him if you get everyone else to be friends!! i saw a youtube video, something along the lines of "what happens if you never meet reggie (99 friends)", where if you talk to dorian after getting 99 friends, he'll say something about you doing so good that you never encountered reggie

    according to the video, reggie will appear, ask you if they should be friends with you, and you'll end up friends with reggie no matter the choice. and then dorian will confess immediately after, so there's that!!

    other than that, thank you for putting up this guide!!! i haven't been playing much recently but i will definitely choose to do an all friendships run in the future!!

    Thank you so much for all of the time I KNOW you had to spend not only figuring all of this out, but also typing it up. :dazed_yeti: I just wanted to ask, do you plan on adding the actual interactions for Doug? I'm only skimming the walkthrough right now, but it seems like he's the only 'Content Aware' dateable that you don't have anything for.

    Also, Re: Teddy - It's not the shortest way, but I got friendship by only talking to him during the day when he gives advice instead of stories.

    Hi Caleb

    Sounds like a bug to me. Using the method I have here, you should be able to realize Reggie without even having to mess around in the app. You get one hate ending, Reggie introduces themselves, then you get a second one and Reggie pops up and says your friends. Then provided you’re far enough in the game to start realizing folks, the option to pops up as a part of Reggie’s menu in the app. Not sure what’s going wrong in your scenario but there’s definitely still some bugs in the game.

    I'm having issues realizing Reggie, I've gotten hate endings with other characters and exhausted all my dialogue options with Reggie (I can only repeat the "just wanted to tell you ya suck" option). I failed the tests with him three times and then asked to just remain friends rather than love or hate. Is this just a bug or did I do something wrong?
