IceWorld: Ice Fishing

In Odyssey, you can make a fishing zone on any shallow water. Shallow water can freeze over and become ice if it's sufficiently cold. This mod lets your pawns cut through this type of ice so that you can access the underlying fishing zones. It should work in any biome, but sea ice is where you'd tend to find these frozen-over bodies of water most often.

To be clear, this is just on sea ice tiles and not any ice, right?

Latest update (1.6.4566) moved fishing into its own work category. I've just pushed an update to move ice fishing into this work category as well.

I'm pretty the bug was a mod conflict but I didn't encounter it again in gameplay.

Limey - I've been unable to replicate the issue with pawns incapable of mining work. If you have any more information I can try to chase it down.

I have a colonist that can cut ice despite being incapable of mining labor, but an error printed when he did.

Just pushed an update to ensure that pawns will attempt at least one fishing job after making a fishing hole. Should eliminate situations where pawns were spending more time making fishing holes than actually fishing.

Correct, this mod just allows your pawns to cut through ice to reach existing fishing zones - it doesn't change the rules for where you can create those fishing zones.
