A heavy Interplanetary cargo lifter


The Gravoulant Class heavy cargo lifter was designed by the interstellar logistics division of House Araim with the goal to broaden their SSIT (Single-Stage-Interstellar-Transport) portfolio. It is among the larger ships of House Araim and very popular for planet-to-planet projects as even though it is quite costly as an initial purchase, the operating costs are much smaller, especially compared to the usually much heavier ships of the same size of House Sarekh and House Ripejut.
The Gravoulant Class comes equipped with a fully pressurized crew section that is designed to provide enough comfort for full-length transports from one edge of the Empire to the other side. The ship is also capable of taking on a small number of passengers.
The main feature of the Gravoulant is the extremely performant lifting power, capable of bringing just over 3,000,000 Kg of cargo into orbit from a 1G surface.
The moderate weight, relatively delicate hull and the good handling for a ship of that size and lifting power have earned the Gravoulant Class the nickname “rocket-Lotus” – even though the infrastructure is light, the ship has a pretty good tolerance for folding stress, further reducing the regular maintenance costs. Every large House has at least a couple of these ships that have been in service for just over 60 years now.

“DLC split the community, why do you use them here?”
I understand the argument, but I do not agree with it. I use the DLC because the give me the vanilla possibilities to use decorative freedom that I would otherwise not have. You are free to use the item without the DLC and I will not change my old worlds and blueprints so they can still be used without DLC. For new content, however, I chose to use all available DLC.
