[B42] Stable Weights

描述
This is a B42 ONLY update to the mod by JS, original description below

This version exposes separate weight change increase and decrease multipliers in the sandbox options instead of just a single multiplier. By default you gain 50% more weight, and lose 30% less weight.

Description

This is a very simple mod that scales weight gains and losses by an adjustable factor. I was annoyed by how quickly my characters' weights changed and how finicky staying at a healthy weight felt, so I decided to make this mod.

How It Works

Every ten in-game minutes, this mod calculates each player's change in weight, then scales it by a factor that can be set in sandbox options.

Compatibility

There shouldn't be compatibility issues, but if some crazy mod depends on changes in player weights, it's possible this mod could disrupt it.

You should be able to add this mod to existing saves with no issues.

Multiplayer

I'm a very amateur modder and this mod was only minimally tested in a locally hosted server, so I can't guarantee it will work in multiplayer.

Aha I see, yeah that's not really the intention of this mod (making it more difficult lol) but I can take a look at it this weekend and see to allowing values below 1 for the weight gain multiplier and above 1 for weight loss, won't be difficult.

no im talking about a 0.7 weight gain so you gain weight at 70% the speed, slower yk?

@helmer not sure I understand, do you mean having a max amount of weight that can be gained in 24 hours?

If you're gaining too much weight you can tweak the amount of weight you gain use the sandbox option "Weight Increase Multiplier" in the "Stable Weights" tab. By default the value is 1.5 which is 50% more weight than vanilla, so you if want to gain less weight you can change that to like 1.2 for 20% or 1 to keep the original vanilla weight gain.

You can use this mod to change this option on an existing save.
