Nearly a year has passed since the death of Duke Alaric, known as the Raven. Though his rule ended by the sword, peace has not returned to the desert. Power remains unclaimed, and the chaos he left behind only deepens.

Your garrison, stationed in the fortress once held by Alaric, now faces a growing crisis. Supplies are running dangerously low. Iron is needed to repair arms and equip new recruits. Food and water are scarce, and without them, your soldiers will not last. The stronghold, while still standing, requires constant upkeep — neglect will turn its walls into crumbling relics.

To make matters worse, the surrounding land is swarming with Bedouin raiders — abandoned mercenaries and local bandits who now roam the dunes unchecked. They strike quickly and vanish into the desert, raiding supply lines and killing scouts. Every expedition for iron or food is a risk, and the sands hide death in every direction.

Yet perhaps the most dangerous threat is less visible. Faith is fading. Without priests to offer mass, confession, and last rites, your men grow restless. The chapel lies silent, and with each passing day, fear takes root in their hearts. If faith dies, so too will hope — and without hope, no wall will stand.
