Introduction
———————————————
Before you begin
If you plan to complete the story quest, before any of the players pass through the metal detectors, push the bucket under the sprinkler so that it fills the bucket with water.

This will be needed for a certain stage of the story quest.

Even if you missed this moment or forgot or completed it in solo mode, saved the match and launched it BEFORE completing this task, later on will describe ways to reactivate the sprinklers.
Opening of the penultimate portal
I recommend opening the door to T1 Mutant Research Lab first — the one immediately to the right of the reception area.
In the aforementioned laboratory, approach the tank with the Mangler inside and interact with the medical equipment to obtain an important syringe.
After activating Pack-a-Punch, jump into the particle accelerator to transform into an energy sphere. In this state, you must hit the levitating body.
This will bring the body down to the ground, and you can interact with the syringe you took to obtain the necessary DNA (blood sample).
Return to the place where you took the syringe and put it back in its place - this will activate the Mangler in the tank and it will become hostile.
Kill him to get a special mutant injection.
Elder Disciple will also emerge from his tank nearby - kill him so he doesn't interfere (although you can save him to simplify some part of the quest).
Head to T2 Dark Entity Containment (or, more simply, the room with the Forsaken), where you will see a door with scanner near the workbench.
Activate the injection you received above to temporarily transform into the desired Mangler and activate the scan so that the security system perceives you as another character and opens the portal.

Now you have access to the pre-end portal, which will take you to the room with the end portal, but at this early stage there is practically nothing to do there.

However, it is better to prepare such things in advance, as the quest requires certain items that will not appear before round 12.

DNA Vial
Once you have unlocked Pack-a-Punch, go to T1 Murant Research Lab. There should be a special zombie called a geneticist.
Kill this zombie to get a key card from it.
Go to the refrigerator on this level.
Open the refrigerator and take the DNA sample of the Richtofen family (DNA Vial) — if you have forgotten about it by this point, the game will not allow you to activate the boss fight, and Richtofen will remind you about “something you forgot.”
Assembling the robot Klaus
In order to assemble Klaus, who is allied (or at least not hostile) to us, you need to find 2 arms and 2 legs.

One arm can be easily shot off flying Klauses in a special round. But please note that you can only get ONE ARM per round.

You can find both legs in the department where Klauses are assembled (T2 Android Assemble), but they have several spawn points.

The leg may be on the top shelf, next to the conveyor belt.
The leg may be next to the platform upstairs, in the robot in the box.
The leg may be under the wall where you can buy a bulletproof vest, behind the broken TV.
The leg may be at the door to the right of the position from which we are looking at the disassembled Klaus.

When all the Klaus parts are ready, interact with the torso to insert them in the appropriate place.
Next, you will need to wait for Uber-Klaus to appear so that he can charge our ally Klaus with his ranged attack. You will know that this stage has been successfully completed when you see his eyes light up.

Please note
This process can be done much sooner if you take the right steps when creating the Gorgofex wonder weapon. See the next section of this guide.
Gorgofex wonder weapon
Head to the T1 Mutant Research Test Area, where you will find two computers displaying static noise.

One is located next to the ammunition box.
The second is next to the Deadshot Daiquiri perk.
For a short time, this static noise on both monitors (or only one) will be replaced by a word.

How does it work?
You should be interested not in the word or its translation, but in the first letter of the word. For example, Ruinous — the letter “R.”

If you have two (or one) such letters, your task is to find the name of the element containing these two letters in the periodic table of the elements (PTE).

PTE is located next to ammunition.

Once you have found the appropriate element, you must remember its serial number.
For example, Argon (Ar) has the code “18.”

If only one monitor was active as a result, this means that it indicates an element with one symbol, such as Hydrogen (H), Nitrogen (N), Fluorine (F), and so on.

What should I do if I have two possible answers, such as Ga (gallium) and Ag (silver)?

In this case, you should remember both numbers — 13 and 47, respectively.

Next, go up to the floor above, where you will find a locked room that requires a code. Your code is the number you got from the riddle above (with a zero at the beginning if the number is less than 100 (e.g., 013) or two zeros if it is less than 10 (001).

If the selected code does not work, move on to the second possible number if you are faced with a choice between two options.

In the room you just opened, damage the zombie next to the strange substance of a disgusting color - if successful, a vermin will appear from the zombie.
Kill this vermin so that it is sucked into the substance.
Repeat this with a total of 3 vermin and 3 zombies after them.

You can use the Elder Disciple, who can also spawn the necessary vermin and speed up the process, if you haven't killed him yet.

After completing the task, take this cyst and go down one level to T1 Quantum Computing Core.
On this level, there will be three huge mushrooms from which the cyst will suck energy — you will see a progress bar on the left, and don't forget that the mushroom will throw poisonous spores at you, which will also cause you damage. During this process, your left hand will be inactive.

Collect energy from the three mushrooms in this way.
You can activate the readiness to throw a semtex or mine, freeing your left hand.

Head to T2 Dark Entity Containment (the room with the Forsaken).
Your task here is to activate 4 computers in time. Start with the one that says “Initiate Power Surge.”
Interact with it and quickly find the next computer with the same inscription. If necessary, focus mainly on the sound.
If you complete this task successfully, Uber-Klaus will appear, and you must first shoot off both modules on his shoulders.
Next, when he is in this state, lure this enemy to the electrified platform in front of the Forsaken. This will transfer him to this robot.

You can use him to activate the allied Klaus in advance, as well as his reinforcements in the form of kamikaze Klauses, and shoot off the arms of these robots.

Destroy the Forsaken to reveal the energy in its place, interact with it, and obtain the desired Gorgofex.
This wonder weapon will be needed to complete certain stages of this story quest.
Moving Klaus to the final teleporter
After Uber-Klaus charges our allied Klaus with his ranged attack, finish off the enemy and safely interact with your ally. He will start working on the computer nearby.
After completing the round, accompany him so that he moves up a level to the room with the Forsaken, where a computer with the S.A.M. test should be waiting for you. Activate it to pass this fairly simple test.

If the S.A.M. computer is not there, wait a few rounds until it appears.

Klaus will then move through the open portal to the room with the inactive portal, which we really need.

However, in order to open this portal, you need to complete several additional tasks, namely:
  • Solve the access code
  • Bring the brain
  • Break the crystals blocking the portal
  • Configure the portal
  • Final touch

But first things first.
Opening the final portal
Solving the access code

You need to find four notes, most of which are located in the T1 Executive Suite (both in the director's office and in the lobby). However, you must not only find them, but also remember the key information they contain, namely:

  • Number next to the document name
  • Date of archiving in American style — month, day, year

Your task is to record these four documents, sort them by date from oldest to newest, and match the numbers next to the names.

The documents may be located in the following places:

On the computer desk in front of the director's office entrance.
    On the director's desk.
In the presentation room, under the lamp on the cabinet.
In the presentation room, but on a white low table.
In the coffee shop on the table.
In the coffee shop on another table next to the fallen lamp.
In T2 Teleportation Lab - on the computer in the middle of the room.

Once you have determined the correct 4-digit combination, return to the room with the final portal and interact with the computer on the left to enter the code.
If successful, you will see the green message “Access granted” on the computer.

Brain

Head to T1 Quantum Computing Core and you will find a strange device glowing green.
Purchase the Melee Macchiato perk if you don't already have it, and punch the screen open.
Inside, you will find a brain, which you can take and quickly deliver to the room with your ally Klaus — place the brain in a similar device next to the robot.

Destroy the crystals

Return to the accelerator (the room with Pack-a-Punch) and activate the red button on the left side of the panel.
Using the Gorgofex, you must kill 5 vermins that look like blue ghosts.
Once the process is complete, you can interact with your Gorgofex and the canister with a blue glow on top. This will transfer a special charge to your wonder weapon.
Return to the room with the final portal, charge the Gorgofex shot, and fire it at the crystals blocking the portal.

Setting the portal

Go to the laboratory (T1 Mutant Research Lab) and look through the hole in the floor to the level below. You can see a light green room with a spherical mushroom. Shoot it with a charged Gorgofex.
A fungul head will fall out, which you need to pick up.
This head needs to be washed — to do this, you need to interact with a bucket of water (the same one at the very beginning of the map).

What if, for one reason or another, this bucket is not filled with water?

To do this, you need to have molotov.

To do this, don't forget to place the bucket under the sprinkler (if you haven't done so already).
Go to the adjacent room (if we are talking about the starting location, as there are several places with sprinklers) and throw the molotov at the fire alarm on the ceiling.
This will reactivate the sprinklers, which will refill the bucket with water.

Put the head you got into the bucket to clean it and turn it into a soul absorber.
Your job is to kill a certain number of zombies near the head so it can absorb their souls.
You can pick up this head in advance and walk around with it, becoming a walking soul absorber, but you will not be able to run.
As soon as you hear/see the corresponding title from Hawkins, it means that you can interact with the final portal to configure it.

Final push

Now it's time to play Pokémon®.

Throughout the map, you can find specific containers from which you can take special Kazimir grenades. They do NOT act like Kazimir grenades, which capture all zombies within a certain radius, but are very compact - only for one person.

Your task is to catch special items with these devices that glow with a purple ethereal glow and are located in some locations (and don't forget to pick up these items):

  • Starting location (reception)
  • T1 Quantum Computing Lab (usually outside)
  • T1 Mutant Research
  • Director's office

When you have caught 4 items in this way (no matter where exactly), return to the room with the final portal and insert these devices into a special compartment.
After installation, interact with this device again to start activating the portal.
From time to time, red light switches will activate in the room. Your task is to interact with them so that they turn green and wait for the next one.
When a white light suddenly shines and the zombies die, it means that all the preparatory work has been completed and you are ready to battle the boss.
Choosing a bossfight
Once the player passes through the final portal, there will be no turning back, and they will have to choose whose side they are on — SAM's or Richthofen's.

Choosing one side will automatically make the other side an enemy, but don't count on getting help from either of them.

Players who have faced both sides also note that Richthofen is objectively a more difficult boss, so don't get in his way.

And before you climb to the top of the third tower of Project Janus, you will have to complete two additional stages:

Find the purple canisters on the first level where you stopped and kill the zombies near them.
On the second level, you need to find purple crystals and destroy them.

If you suddenly remember that you are not fully armed, there will be an Arsenal on the first level and Der Wunderfizz on the second, and zombies will give you full points for killing them.

Oh, and by the way — don't count on Chopper Gunner support in this boss fight. These bosses are capable of shooting down that support.
S.A.M. bossfight
The battle with this boss takes place in 4 stages, each accounting for 25% respectively.

The boss's status can be divided into 3 types:
  • Invulnerable
  • Vulnerable
  • Very vulnerable

Invulnerable

For most of the time, the boss will be invulnerable, during which you will have to dodge her shells and shoot back at the zombies.

Fortunately, the zombies here do not respawn constantly to replace the DEAD dead, so for a certain time after destroying the horde, you can fight one-on-one.

Vulnerable

S.A.M. will be vulnerable during a spinning attack, where she throws shells in all directions.

You can also damage her when she tries to hide in portals or comes out of them.

Very Vulnerable

S.A.M. will become very vulnerable after being attacked with a red laser — red spheres will open around its “eye” and take critical damage.

Destroy all 4 and you will be able to deal critical damage directly to its eye.

Also, after losing a quarter of her health, S.A.M. will disappear and launch a challenge that the player can complete to get the Random Perk power-up (maybe if they suddenly lost Quick Revive due to the Dying Wish augment).

Richtofen bossfight
However, this will be a two-phase battle, where you will first have to fight Uber Richtofen, who will act like a regular Uber Klaus, only larger in size and much more dangerous.

And as with Uber Klaus, after destroying the mech suit, Richtofen will now fly on his jetpack and attack you with his Wunderwaffe DG-2. It won't kill you with one hit, but it will stun you, which can lead to almost instant death from subsequent shots.

To be able to resist him, use the following:
  • take cover at the first opportunity

  • use the Smell of Death augment for Vulture Aid - standing in this gas makes you invisible not only to zombies, but also to the boss

  • use smoke grenades - they can be replenished relatively quickly with Picky Eater augment for Vulture Aid, and they also hide you from the boss (only if you are in the smoke screen yourself, without zombies close by).
—————————
Upgrading Gorgofex
This is an optional offer; it is not required to continue/complete the Reckoning storyline quest, but it allows you to modify this wonder weapon with the life of one of your familiar characters, as well as provides the opportunity to upgrade your weapon with Pack-a-Punch.

First, you need to meet with Blanchard, who has locked himself in his office:

Now you need to decide which side you are on — Blanchard or Panos.

Depending on whose life you take, you will receive the corresponding weapon.

Gorgofex C (🔵)

In this case, Panos will die.

Press the red button in the room next to the spawn point.
Protect your ally Klaus from the zombies that are targeting him (they have purple eyes).
Go up to the room where this elevator used to go and descend on a parachute, pressing the three red buttons in the elevator shaft at the same time.
Head to the T1 Quantum Computing Core — zombies with glowing blue eyes will appear there.
Kill these zombies with your Gorgofex.
After the zombies are killed, Panos will appear in the center of the room. Interact with him so that Gorgofex can absorb him.

Gorgofex N (🟢)

In this case, Blanchard will die.

Go to T1 Quantium Computing Core and take the Strauss counter next to the central processor (i mean brain).
Using this counter, you need to find a special place on the map where zombies appear — the counter will show the highest e-field value.
Fire a charged shot at this location and a life drain serum should drop from there.
In T1 Bioweapons Lab, pick up the clean hood located next to the window.
In T1 Quatum Computing Lab, pick up the hose located in the open area near Speed Cola.
In T2 Dark Entity Containment, next to the arsenal where the servers are broken, pick up a PC fan.
Return to the room with Blanchard and start the process of creating a device for extracting life energy.
Interact with the device and guard it for 1.5 minutes.
Pick up Blanchard's Life Essence, but note that it will gradually cause you damage. You can drop it to restore some health.
Bring it to the device in the bio lab where you took the cyst to create Gorgofex.
Interact further to create the desired wonder weapon.
—————————
Aetherella companion
To activate this secret, you must have the Gorgofex wonder weapon.

In the starting location, at the entrance on the right, activate the spray in the inaccessible women's restroom.
On the floor of the stall, there will be a statue of Aetherella, which you must shoot with a charged shot from Gorgofex. It will follow you, but nothing more.
Head to the Pack-a-Punch room and jump into the particle accelerator to turn into a sphere, and the statue of Efirella will hang in this beam.
Jump into the accelerator again and hit Aetherella with the sphere to charge it.

Now it will attack nearby zombies for a certain amount of time, although the mini-statue is clearly not as powerful as the full-size statue from Liberty Falls.

Once its effect has ended, she will disappear, but after a few rounds she will reappear in the particle accelerator beam.
Aether Blade
First of all, you need to return three paintings to their places in order to start this secret (the extra 1,500 essence won't hurt anyway).

Activate Mr. Peeks' field upgrade next to the painting in the director's office, and he will knock the painting down and open access to the safe.
Go to the room with the Forsaken and activate ARC-XD to squeeze through the hole in the fence.
Blow up the crystals in the inaccessible area.
After that, crystals will appear one level higher, which you need to destroy.
The key to the safe will drop from the last crystal.
Interact with the safe to activate the battle with the Elder Apostle.
Once you defeat the Elder Apostle, the safe will become accessible and you can take the ethereal throwing knife.

Now you have a special item from MWZ — lethal equipment that can be thrown infinitely, as it will automatically return to its owner.

https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3537901882
Its only drawback is that it kills only 3 (sometimes 4) zombies per throw, unlike 5 in MWZ.

C.A.S.T.E.R. turret
To activate this secret, use the C.A.S.T.E.R. turret.
It will destroy zombies for a certain amount of time (several activations are required) until a message «Error: Memory full» is heard.
The next zombie may drop a hard drive, which you need to pick up.
Go to the computer with the brain in the T1 Quantum Computing Core.
Purchase a Melee Macchiato (if you don't already have one) and open the panel with your hand where the brain is located.
Interact to insert the hard drive you obtained and protect the computer from the zombies that will attack it.
After successfully defending it for a certain amount of time, all C.A.S.T.E.R. turrets will become level 2.
This will slightly increase their damage, and the energy mines remaining on the ground will no longer harm you.

However, you can upgrade turrets to levels 3 and 4 by repeating the entire process above — but each subsequent upgrade requires more activations for, respectively, more zombie kills with that turret.

The cost of activation will increase with each new level, but no more than 1550 at level 4.

Their power will also increase to the point where a level 4 turret is capable of brain rot zombies, including special and elite enemies.
Chicket bucket
Go to the kitchen in the T1 Executive Suite and throw the explosives into the bucket of chicken on the shelf.
Now you need to collect 6 baked juicy chicken legs scattered around the room.

Once you have collected them all, take the chicken box on the table.

Now you have an improvised hat made from this cardboard bucket.

Free 100 essences
In the director's office, you will see the familiar billiard table.
Hit or shoot these balls so that they all fly into the pocket, and you will get 100 points.
Free 1500 essences
In order to get 3 canisters of 500 essence each, you need to do something very simple — find 3 paintings and return them to their places (player can carry only one painting).

It is located behind the door in the initial location — in the room with the portal.

It is located next to the stairs in the room with Pack-a-Punch.

It is located under the pillar in the T2 tower, next to the gum vending machine.

You can place the paintings in a designated place next to the arsenal in the director's office.

Free ammo mod + aether tool + crystal
Free ammo mod

To activate this secret, you need to stand on the Project Janus logo on the floor at the reception desk and shoot at the logo on the broken monitor.
After that, a small test will start, where the player must continue to stand in place and successfully hit the targets that will appear throughout the hall.

After hitting the last target, a random ammo mod will appear on the table.

Free aether tool

You can perform this secret in the next round after completing the previous one, but the reward will vary depending on which round you perform this specific stage.

Return to your previous position and shoot the logo again to start a new challenge.

This time, the game will offer to shoot at two targets in the same amount of time.

Up to and including round 10 - blue tool.
From round 11 to 20 inclusive - purple tool.
From round 21 onwards - orange tool.

Free Pack-a-Punch Crystal

You can perform this part after completing the previous one, no earlier than the next round.

Repeat everything you did last time.

However, now you have to shoot 3 moving targets in the same amount of time.
If you succeed, you will receive a Pack-a-Punch crystal of level 1 or 2, depending on which round you completed it in.
  • Up to and including round 20 - Level 1
  • 21+ rounds - Level 2
Free Deadshot Daiquiri
First, take up a position away from the armored targets and shoot both of them in the head (ignore the zombie Ivan).

After you hear the secret completion sound, turn toward the construction tower.
Shoot all 5 cans without missing a single shot, and you are guaranteed to receive the Deadshot Daiquiri.

Free self-revive
To obtain it, you must enter the director's office and shoot the billiard balls in order FROM TOP TO BOTTOM:

1 — 1 — 5.

Free Power-Ups
Bonus Points

On the radio tower at the top of T1.

Double Points

In T1 Quantum Computing Core, on the computer opposite the door.

Full Power

On the beam, next to Deadshot Daiquiri.

Insta-Kill

In the room with the Forsaken, specifically in the “staff only” room.

Max Ammo

In T2, in the corner near the gum machine.

Max Armor

On the APC located in front of the entrance to the starting location (in the inaccessible game zone).

Nuke

In the room with Pack-a-Punch, in the middle of the pipes, to the right of the crafting table.

Fire Sale

This power-up will only appear if all of the above are activated.

At the reception, in the room to the left of Quick Revive.

Free Random Perk
When you are at the level where Jugger-Nog is, aim down and shoot the barely visible Mr. Peeks.

This toy rabbit will jump up to you and dance on the railing. Interact with it to activate the secret challenge.
Your task is to fly through all the rings that appear below using a parachute.
Once you have successfully completed this task, Random Perk power-up will appear after landing.
Free Random Perk (2)
In order to obtain it, you need to complete a certain amount of progress in the quest until the point where you need to destroy the crystals of the final teleport.

When the game requires you to destroy ethereal vermins to obtain a special charge for your weapon, continue killing zombies.
Your goal is to earn 2,000 points, the status of which can be seen on the screen above. Killing a vermin gives you 200 points (there are 5 in total), and killing a zombie gives you 10 points.
If you have scored more than 2000 points by the time the particle accelerator stabilizes, you will receive a Random Perk power-up.
Free stuff
To do this, you need to do what you love — rummage through trash cans.

At the initial location, at the reception, there are four trash cans that you can interact with to get something useful. Or maybe not.
On the floor where Jugger-Nog is located, there are six smaller trash cans from which you can also get something (or not).
After you have interacted with all of these trash cans, return to the spawn point and you will notice that the trash can there begins to glow.
Interact with it and you will receive a little bit of everything — essences, scrap, equipment (and even a lore document).
Screamer
Take the sniper rifle and approach the jumping platform from T1 (where Jugger-Nog is) to T2.
Aim at the forest below and you will see a mat spread out under a tree.
Vending machine
In T2, next to the dismantled (or whatever it is at the moment) Klaus, there is a vending machine with snacks.

It works the same way as in Liberty Falls, namely, hit the bottom part to get something random:
  • a bag of chips
  • some essence
  • scrap
  • activated tactical equipment
  • perk cans
  • and more

You can only receive one award per round.

But if you hit it while having the Melee Macchiato perk, you will break it, but you will receive several rewards at once.

🎵 Secret music
To activate this musical secret, you need to run through the metal detectors at the starting location in a specific order.

If you look from the position where you appear on the map, the order should be as follows (counting from left to right):

1-3-2 1-3-2.

Repeat this procedure once more, and then a white screen should flash, followed by the familiar melody “Samantha's Peace” from the ending of the Tag der Toten map in Black Ops 4.

There is also a special line from Richthofen:
No... no, it can't be... I heard this song... a lifetime ago.

🎵 Special song
To activate, you need to interact with 3 pairs of Mr. Peeks headphones:

Next to the scientist's body, next to the PHD perk
In the room with the Forsaken, around the neck of another scientist, next to the Stamin-Up perk
In the director's office, specifically on the lower shelves of the cabinet

The award will be given to the song “Remember US” performed by Elena Siegman.

By the way, the last song featuring Elena was “Mystery” along with the Dead of the Night map (Black Ops 4), which was released on December 11-18, 2018.

I need to unlock Mr. Peeks first.
And short weapon damage tests (the guide for which I am currently updating) do not provide much XP.
