the Vinegaroon Beetle (Kynigorusum periplanomenos) is a species of Predatory beetle native to most areas in south america. it's name come from it's resemblance to that of a Vinegaroon, a species of arachnid. it has long antenniform forelegs it uses as antennae to sense prey, despite it's good eyesight. the beetle is flightless. the Kynigorusum periplanomenos seems to resemble that of a Tiger Beetle, however, the relation between these species is unknown. the most interesting thing about this species of predatory beetle is that it is completely fake.
