Mod Description
XCOM2 takes a bunch of squad photos / posters automatically during the game. An automatic poster is taken at the end of every mission, one is taken when a soldier dies, one when a soldier is bonded and one when a soldier is promoted.

Most of these photos are rubbish quality, for example having soldiers facing the opposite way, bad zoom levels, pixelated graphics and various other problems. So if, like me, you prefer having your photobooth containing mostly manually taken, expertly curated photos of your favourite characters, rather than automatically created garbage, then this is the mod for you!

This config only mod makes use of some recent CHL changes to disable these automatic photographic abominations and send them back to the abyss from whence they came.

Feel free to adjust the individual flags in the config file if you want to keep some of the automatically generated photos, but not others.

It's been working perfectly so far after that unsubscribe/subscribe try. Some sort of weirdness with the subscription I guess.

I ended up unsubscribing from this mod and highlander then resubscribing. Going to see if I get any promotion posters. So far none yet after resubscribing so hopefully the problem was something with my earlier download.

Okay, just as I do that it gave me an automatic promotion poster for a SPARK. Will monitor and see if it happens for other soldier types.

I've been waiting, desperately, for this to become compatible with the release version of the Highlander. Now that it is, I'll never uninstall it. Never! At last, the scourge of random posters has been lifted from my game, and no mod conflicts in sight.

@EcoCobra - that's a good question. My gut feeling is 'I think so'. Before I fixed it so it didn't put a photo on there at all, it was using the last photo in the array so it's probably feasible to randomise it and put it under an mcm toggle or something. Ill add it to the pile!

Suggestion for a feature: on post-mission Skyranger view (with the stats screen), could we show random old posters if you didn't take a photo for the mission? Excellent mod!
