Fraynkie Argentino

Fraynkie has taken a vacation in argentina and it was incredible for him, so much so he became a diferent man and adopted some of the traditions and stuff and transformed it into a new fighting style for him, the argentina moveset.

Fraynkie argentino is powerful trapper that has so many projectiles and a powerful combo game, he can mix-up his options so well he truly is unpredictable. all of his attacks, except jab and nair, are all brand new and original attacks. all of which are references to argentina culture, products and memes. If you are argentinian, you will laugh as you recognise them and if you are not, you will learn them as you play and hopefully get to know something of my country.

neutral special: mate
pressing neutral special, fraynkie argentino will serve himself a mate drink. he will prepare it and then drink it, which heals him 30%. it takes 3 seconds for Fraynkie argentino to fully prepare the drink and once dranked, you will have to wait 10 seconds before using it again.
if you think this is a useless move and the heal itsn't worth it, don't worry, Fraynkie argentino can cancel the move into one of the next 3 follow ups:
-press shield to do a dodge, it can be done in the air.
-press attack to throw the mate like a projectile.
-press special again to do summer kick.
-or just jump if you have your jump.
canceling the move into any of this options doesn't disable the move, meaning that you can do the move again if you want to. use the special variant if you want to recover.

side special: almuerzo argentino
Frankie argentino trhows 1 of the following of food:
-fernet: fernet, our best alcoholic beverage. Fraynkie throws a bottle of fernet which is affrcted by gravity. if it hits the ground, it will leave a fire that deals damage to any foe standing there.
-empanadas: empanadas, a classic argentinian food. Fraynkie trhows 3 empanadas, on after the other, in a quick motion. the empanadas are fast projectiles that are good combo followers and a great zoning tool.
-choripan: choripan, it's a sandwhich of chorizo and a classic in our asados. Fraynkie throws a huge choripanthat could feed an entire family. the projectile is slow and risky to trhow due to it's long animation, but it can kill so early and can be comboed into even after it's thrown.

you cycle between those projectiles in that order everytime you use the move. if you want to know which projectile you have in your side special, you can see it in the HUD.
there's a small cooldown between each projectile to avoid spaming and you can see it in the HUD when your projectile has a red card.

up special: trepador de semaforos
argentina won the 2022 world cup and to celebrate, let's climb a street light. Fraynkie argentino climbs a streetlight for his up special. the streetlight is basically a platform that's above you and once climbed, it wil stay there for 5 seconds before disapearing.
you can't have more than one streetlight on stage. as your move gets disable when you do it. in the hud there's a streetlight icon to see if you are allowed to use the move, and you can only use it if there isn't a red card on top of it.

down special: vamos manaos
Fraynkie argentino drops one of the best sodas in the world, Manaos. the Manaos will stand there menancingly for a while, until it explodes without any warning. this bomb can be hitted, so the manaos can be ping ponged around the stage by anyone and it can surprise you in an unexpected moment.
the manaos bomb can hit Fraynkie argentino by default, so you should stay away of it explodes.

other things to note.
Frankie argentino up air and down air have projectiles.
up air sends a soccerball diagonally downwards and it can bounce of the floor, this gives you a great combo starter from a far or helps you as a second hit in Fraynkie argentino up air if used up closed.
down air is basically anvil but far more fair and it's a plastic jar of dulce de leche.

overall, i had so much fun making this character. this character is by far my best creation up to this moment and i enjoyed making the many references to my home country argentina. replacing all of fraynkie's moves with my original ones and i hope you enjoy him as much as i enjoyed making him.
Fraynkie argentino was supposed to be a simple joke character, but i found it's funnier what i ended up making.
