描述
Removes the Kha'ak torture mechanics described in my Steam guide.
Enemies spawning directly on your miner's head is not fun.

It should permanently disable the Kha'ak through the following changes:
  • Mining generates no "heat".
  • Outpost spawn chance is 0%.
  • Hive + Outpost have 1 hull/shield and their turrets deal 1 damage.
  • Hive + Outpost respawn time is over 9000 hours.
  • If they somehow manage to spawn, Kha'ak ships have 1 hull/shield and their weapons deal 1 damage.

The existing Hives on galaxy generation are not removed. However, they should do nothing, and effectively never respawn if you destroy them.

It is compatible with Spawn Begone, if you want to use his HAT/SCA changes with my KHA changes.

If you need Khaks ships, (sometimes because of their equipment) you can fly away from the gate to a distance of 1600km +, there will always be a Khaks ship drive, or later spawn, thanks to a random encounter.

Ok, thx. So i better wait to use the Mod. Maybe a Plot, Mission or Story needs Khaak or i will "Play" a bit with the khaak.^^

Yes, it entirely removes Kha'ak from the game. I can't only stop them from spawning out of thin air because that is all they are capable of doing. Their stations only exist as part of a condition for them to spawn on your head.

I like that this mod removes khaak from Spawn out of nowhere because of my miners actions.
But do this effictifly remove khaak from the game after i destroyed all khaak "bases" in their Home System?

True, but if the khaak spawn next to my ship that is trolling a resource probe in the heart of the system and along a known trade/patrol route, my ship would not have to face a 300km trip back to civilized space with only basic engines (since they can never get up to travel speed). Nice, friendly NPC's will come and fight too.

Forcing miners to mine in specific areas will have no impact on KHA since they spawn out of thin air directly on your head.

Because of this beauty, I no longer feel the need to use the NoMinersNeeded mod that creates import modules to replace the use of miners. I'd be fine with just the "no heat" portion of it since all of my station miners seem to prefer going 300+ km away from the 'center' to mine despite a resource probe near denser pockets of ore/gas closer to the center.
If THAT could be fixed (force station miners to only operate within the 40km limit of a resource probe), even this mod might be unnecessary.

I'm not sure how it is possible, but I've updated the mod to add some extra protections.
