Thalecross Keep

You have been dispatched to Thalecross Keep, a coastal stronghold in the east now drowning in madness and blood. Lord Ellivar, once a proud vassal of the Crown, has succumbed to the lure of a heretical pagan cult who worship an ancient sea god said to slumber beneath the waves.

Ellivar has turned his castle into a place of sacrifice and terror. Villagers are dragged from their homes and offered to the deep. His soldiers, once protectors of the realm, now guard profane altars with fanatical devotion.

Our spies reveal that this corruption runs deeper than we feared. The Snake has been supporting the cult from the beginning and is now using Ellivar to destabilize the region in preparation for his arrival. His army is gathering in the hills and there are unconfirmed reports that the Rat might join as well. For generations, Thalecross Keep has guarded our eastern shores. The King will not allow it to fall into the wrong hands.
