Its divisions field the same modernized rifles, helmets, and protective gear as the Naval Infantry on paper, they are equal. In practice, the Army suffers from the same ills that plagued it for decades: rampant corruption, bloated bureaucracy, and poor morale.

Soldiers often sell fuel, ammunition, or even vehicles on the black market. Logistics collapse on a regular basis, leaving units undersupplied despite Russia’s massive arsenals. Conscripts form the bulk of the Army, with contract soldiers spread thinly among them. Desertions are frequent, discipline is lax, and many formations lack proper coordination between armor, artillery, and infantry.
