---------------------------------------------------------------------------
And now, a glimpse at the future:

Have you ever looked at your ARC9 guns wishing you could mess with it in ways that are just simply not available to you? Have you ever wanted to reposition attachments? Make them bigger, smaller, or even flatter or longer?

Perhaps you'd like to use attachments from other weapons and make horrifying frankenbuilds?

Or, dare say, put Glock magazines on everything...

All this and *much more* is possible with ARC9 Unlameifier. It is my premier project that has been in development for about 2 years now with the help of various members of the Doves International community. It focuses on being a tool that can sandbox any ARC9 weapon that offers nothing more than just a slot. It works by making itself available on EVERY slot in EVERY gun, so out of the box every weapon works with Unlameifier. It is still a work in progress, so it's not ready for a public release. It's reached a point, however, where we're tired of keeping it behind closed doors and would like to share it all with you. This is an incredibly powerful tool that can be used to radically change ANY ARC9 gun into something completely different from what it started as. Your imagination is the limit.

Quick Q&A

Q: Why not release ARC9 Unlameifier in its current state and say it's a Work-in-Progress?
A: The Steam Workshop helps new addons by giving them a "boost". I firmly believe that if ARC9 Unlameifier is to have the impact I want it to have, it should be released when it's properly ready to be released. In its current state, we're still pushing updates that can possibly break any presets that use older versions of Unlameifier. When we've ironed out all of these sorts of updates, I'll feel more comfortable getting it prepared to be pushed to the public proper (it's going to be a lot sooner than you think)

Q: Why can I only use certain EFT and PolyArms attachments?
A: Unlike making Unlameifier work with every weapon, I have to author what attachments you can use *through* Unlameifier manually. It's not difficult work, but I tend to work on Unlameifier when I have free time (and interest in doing so).

Q: What attachment packs are planned to be supported by Unlameifier?
A: I intend on supporting all the major weapon packs, those include
1. Escape from Tarkov by Darsu
2. PolyArms by Darsu
3. Gunsmith Reloaded by Twilight Sparkle
4. MW19 Pack by Twilight Sparkle
5. CoD Pack by Palindrone
6. Smorgasbord by FleshyMammal
7. SCP 5K Pack by Craft Pig
8. Gunsmith Arms Source by Arctic

Q: There's so much content I don't care about. Are you sure I need all of this?
A: Part of Unlameifier's Public Release plan is to divide all of its content into packs that are relevant to what the user would want to install. Unlameifier is about choice and freedom, so not having to install things you don't necessarily care about is just as important as providing you the tools to mess about with your guns in the first place. This also means that thirdparty content will be a breeze to implement, should you not like any official system that I've authored or want to expand upon it yourself (i.e. more sound packs or cosmetic options)

Q: Why are you so dead set on DMCAing anyone who reuploads Unlameifier?
A: When you've poured as much time, care, and attention to something as I have for this, you would do the same.

Q: I'm struggling to figure out Unlameifier. How do I make this work?
A: Part of Unlameifier's Public Release plan is to make a large series of tutorials for basic and advanced things you can do with Unlameifier. Until then, I am happy to answer any questions you may have in Unlameifier's comment section or Doves International's Discord Server ( https://discord.gg/gaHXusZ )

One known limitation of my edit of Arctic's nightvision system is that we cannot have peripheral view from AROUND the actual NODs themselves. This is because the original mod (and by extension, this one) uses legacy Garry's Mod postprocessing effects and affects the *entire screen*. Making the occluding background even slightly transparent would completely ruin the effect and I am not willing to compromise on this as in most situations you would only be able to use those NODs under more or less pitch-black lighting conditions.

Please do not communicate me on this subject matter again. Thank you.

To VISUALLY DEMONSTRATE what Panoramic Nightvision looks like from YOUR point of view, I have taken some screenshots in H3VR: https://imgur.com/a/CWQtWnb

To VISUALLY DEMONSTRATE what Binocular Nightvision: https://i.imgur.com/Dmsm7AE.png (Take note the pieces of the nightvision goggles themselves at the top of the screen and see that they are slightly transparent- this is because I have merged both eyes into one, which is how this looks IRL).

@razorscleo

Binocular nightvision makes a "singular circle" in your vision because it is merging the exact same image from one eye into the other.

QuadNODs make an "ellipsis" in your vision because it's fusing two symmetrical images into one.

I have partial firsthand experience with using Nightvision, going off of Hotdogs, Horse Shoes, & Handgrenades' (H3VR) demonstration of it. This was authored by someone who has true firsthand experience with nightvision as they own a few pairs of NODs themselves. Anton Hand himself doesn't own any NODs but one of his modelers does, and directed him on how it works and looks in real life. I also have secondhand confirmation from someone who has used NODs in real life and has confirmed that this is how they really do look in-person. You'll notice that Anton's screen is split into two, showing both eyes at the same time.

@Neosun Hey so remember a while back when I asked about why the two tube goggles used the single tube screen overlay? Now I'm not trying to be mean or anything but I had actually done what You said (put two rolls against My eyes) and I wasn't really seeing it. I kinda feel like You were just saying that just to avoid having to make a whole other screen overlay but it's fine dude, I just wanted to say something was all. PS hope Your day is going well.

@Qipo14

oh. right.

I have it still, I just never updated to the latest version of gWeather.

I can zip it up and send it to you if you'd like to play with it. Just bear in mind that it will conflict with the workshop version of gWeather and needs to be installed locally.

Well having tried to look through binoculars before, I can actually see where You're coming from Thanks. And Yes please don't take it down, it's literally a direct upgrade to the original add on. (thanks for that, the tan quad nods were driving Me crazy)
