The idea behind nightmare general is to kite him with a single unit while all the archers focusing him.

Also, even gathering every bit of resources I could manage and training probably nearly 50 archers, you just don't have the firepower to stop the enormous hordes of zombies and then add a nightmare general on top?
Again, loved the idea (though getting Claire out of the initial spawn is borderline impossible, requiring a dozen restarts...) but balance is way off.
