描述
My first ever wholly finished, custom map (as in it's not a port). I present to you:

Water Edge, or a concrete sea.

This is a small, scenic map heavily inspired by the manga Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryouko / Girl's Last Tour, aswell as a drawing of a concrete wall near water I saw around 2020. Originally I just intended it to be the concrete walkway near the water with the large structure on the horizon, but added a greatly expanded skybox based on work I did back in 2018. I hope you enjoy it.

Lighting and shadows ended up weird in places, which I sadly could not fix.

Map name is gm_water_edge_night

I'm glad you like it, although I didn't put that much thought into it besides it looking cool. I based it on an idea I had for the surface portion of an abandoned underwater facility, but in this map it's supposed to be one of the pillars holding up the city you see in the background, just a more important one. The disc around it is meant to be a city layer under construction.
