The Traitor

A creator who has since been stripped of his powers over creation. This creator was fascinated by the wars the test subjects could leverage against each other, and while reflecting upon one such war, he began to contemplate how he could make them so much more destructive and exciting. Behind the others' backs, he began to tinker and create the many different forms of technology that are now used by the dissenters of the test rooms. He worked quietly and efficiently, and when he knew he was done, he gave each of his new creations to the warring factions of the time. What followed was a renaissance of war machines and powerful constructs that could raze entire cities to the ground. The newfound sheer destructive power resulted in mutually-assured destruction for both factions and for the new generation of technology to become much more widespread and violent, an infection of Dissent that was never able to be truly reversed. As punishment for his incessant and blatant misuse of his powers, this creator was banished to the floor of the test rooms themselves and struck down with the very ground he stood upon. Even now, while he reaches for the sky and for the life he had yearned to return to, the wars he had jump-started rage around him, bringing him bliss in his eternal punishment.
