描述
Description:
Although the factorum decided that the phrase "Bigger is Better" would be their inspiration for their fleet composition, they needed a good range of small craft. This led to the introduction of the Reaver Class drop-ship. Made to transfer/deploy small squads from their ships in orbit into combat. Although not heavily armed or durable, the Reaver was designed with speed and agility in mind, allowing the craft to make quick insertions and exfils when needed.

The Reaver is also designed to be able to operate in atmosphere which makes it a valuable asset within the factorum fleet as most of their ships are unable to enter atmosphere without not being able to make it back out in one piece. It is also fitted with a Prototech Jump drive which allows for a jump around 200 Km, which allows for stealthy insertions without the enemy being alerted by the fleet.

These attributes made the Reaver drop ship incredibly valuable to the factorums new fleet composition and how it is used in their tactics for combat operations.

Notes:
Hey guys, not uploaded for a while while I've been working on some of my bigger ships. But took a break and made this dropship which is my first "Good enough" small grid ship that I felt like I can upload. So, once again if there are any issues please let me know in the comments so I can try improve on it, thanks.

P.S. The ship was also built using no armour edges if you are getting a mod dependency but other than that no other mods should be needed.

Gorgeous work :)

Excellent engine performance for how large it is. The only note I have is that the gatlings seem to be spaced too far apart to do much. Maybe if you swap them with another pair of autocannons you'll get all four to combine into a more useful forward salvo.

I also got a bit of phasing into the ground or the landing pad every other time I pasted it in but I don't know if that is a grid thing or a SE thing as I usually don't play around with small grids of this size.

Now if you'll excuse me I'll go delete everything I've ever built and find some sackcloth and ashes lol
