Hello all, I've put a lot of time into this map and mission, I hope you enjoy it!
Please feel free to comment any suggestions/recommendations. I haven't been able to find the Omaha map I've been dreaming of, so I made one myself!

Current Version 1.12

Update 7/6/25:
Artillery has been moved further back, AA gun has been moved to a lower position so it no longer targets infantry/landing craft on the beach. It will focus on aircraft but will target Allied infantry in the upper trenches on the ridge so keep your head down!

RUN AS SINGLE MISSION FOR BEST EXPERIENCE. NOT CAMPAIGN! I HAVE INCLUDED A PHOTO OF IDEAL SETTINGS

ROADMAP:
I want to make more custom uniforms for Allied Squads in SDK.
I want to do the same for the German side.

Great map, best omaha beach feeling yet. Just one immersion breaking bug, when the ramp drops, I get turned around 180 degrees, the bots as well, and we face the back of the boat for 2 seconds. Can this be fixed?

I love this mission, thank you. By any chance, can you replace the UNERTL scope on the M1903s with the regular scope? Historically, the UNERTL scopes were only used in the Pacific.

Update: The LCM works and carries troops to the beach as it should. I am having trouble with the door animation upon hitting the beach. It carries more troops but as of now with how the source code for the game is setup cannot carry a vehicle. I don't want to remove the mod from private until after I have a working product. I will keep you posted if that changes. I have made a few changes to the map. Fixed some floating objects and created another "ramp" up the ridge after the beach. Because of this AI US tanks can access the upper portion of the map easier.

Huh weird, does this happen with the recommended settings? I haven't had this issue, could you recreate it for me?

The map is great, but after the first wave, the only squad spawning on the US side is whatever squad I join to land on the beach. No more AI comes in to help after the first wave, and the mission turns into 8 or 9 US soliders (half of which die as soon as the boat door opens), storming the beach against 6 or more full German squads. Unfortunately, it ruins what would otherwise be a great map. It needs more AI to be landing more consistently.

Played again today, shaping up well. Some dead bodies/corpse mod would add to the immersion for sure. The rest of the stuff you're adding sounds great, looking forward to it.

There are still a few floating obstacles on the left side of the beach inside the play area near a LCVP on fire, a wooden pole and a couple shingles.

Sweet, I'll work on that too, I fixed some of the floating stuff, some of the stuff outside of the actual play area is still floating slightly but it shouldn't be visible or ruin immersion. I see the floating trenches. I'm fixing those now.

I am working on a LCM model boat that will transport tanks to the beach like infantry instead of coming out of the static LCT's. That's going to take a lot of work but that and more customized uniforms are next.

Other thing I noticed, Allied tanks get stuck at the trench line on the beach, they cannot advance further. Otherwise mission is legit as hell, I hope this gets popular!
