Chest Peek — View Chest and Storage Contents Instantly

Hover your cursor — and see what's inside!



Chest Peek is a lightweight interface enhancement that allows you to preview the contents of chests and other containers without opening them.



Supported containers:
  • Regular Chests (including locked)
  • Dressers
  • Trash Cans
  • Barrels
  • Piggy Banks
  • Safes
  • Defender's Forge
  • Void Vault



Locked chest behavior:
If a chest is locked, its contents will not be shown — instead, question mark icons are displayed.



Features:
  • Automatic display when hovering over containers
  • Shows all slots, even if empty
  • Considers container dimensions
  • Matches Terraria's visual style
  • Scales with UI size

@CallMeCraig : k I just figured it out. If your UI Scale setting is set to something other than 100%, then it gets misaligned.

Thanks for the feedback! The issue with the chest UI being offset has been fixed in the latest update. It should now appear exactly when hovering over a chest. Let me know if there are still any issues!

Please, fix your mod. It is very cool and fits my vanilla+ modpack, but the peeking area of the chest is rendered like 10 block to the left and 8 blocks above.

Yeah the loot window is located not at the chest but some distance from it.
