Secretly Writing Histories - Manual Save/Load

描述
This mod adds a very low-tech UI for custom saves feature of the Roost Machine.

HOW TO USE:

- Subscribe to the Roost Machine

- Subscribe to this mod

- Enable both mods in the Sixth Histories menu

- Close the game (do this each time you enable or disable a DLL mod !!)

- Next time you open the game, there will be a new "HISTORY" tab in options

- Select a save slot (labelled in a universal language of Cultist Simulator aspects)

- Switch left (labelled SAVE) to SAVE, leftward motion symbolising a preservation of the past

- Switch right (labelled LOAD) to LOAD, rightward motion symbolising a stride towards the new future

- In the main menu, either of these will LOAD (as there's nothing worth saving in the main menu)

- If the slot you're trying to LOAD is empty, you will be warned with a message

- If the slot you're trying to SAVE is NOT empty, you will NOT be warned with a message - be wary of overwriting

Thanks for the response! I'm not sure what happened as I last played cultsim quite a bit ago and could have sworn I had both enabled in the correct order and rebooted the game correctly, but when I checked Roost was disabled. When I rebooted the game this mod seems to be working fine as far as I can tell; I was able to successfully save and reload my game. Fingers crossed we encounter no further issues because this seems perfect for what I want =)

@Spook Sorry for the late answer! I was away.
You sure you have the Roost Manchine and Ghirbi mods installed and enabled, and also you sure you did close the game after enabling them? DLL mods require the game to re-launch to properly enable or disable.

I've downloaded this mod to try it out, and I'd like some help. How do you... actually trigger the load?
I've downloaded and enabled the Roost Machine and everything, and the history tab shows up in my options, but nothing happens when I try to use it. I resume my game, go select the "edge" slot, flip the thing to the left to save, and then try flipping to the right in order to load it, and then nothing happens. I do not even get the message warning me of overwriting.

Am I just not getting it? Any help would be much appreciated
