Pasyfista, the gate of mention is from fortyfications mod, however the issue of teleporting tools through walls (or gates) is a persistent issue.

Again, this is an amazing mod, I still use it and HAVE found that if you leave an opening in your wall (for a road to run through perhaps) attackers WILL take the path of least resistance, so instead of warping through walls, I now have town entrances I use as choke points.

MAKE IT WORK PLEASE!

This is a GREAT deco mod, but I was sorely disappointed when I built my first wall and slammed the gate shut as raiders approached.

I set my infantry at the gate and my archers not far behind to flank the enemy as they attacked.

They charged my walls....clipped through and kept on charging....

I cant use this amazing mod until the walls actually are walls and not just expensive deco.

Please take this as constructive criticism! Your idea is perfect and the designs are well executed!

After spending some time using this it is time I share just how amazing this mod is.

The walls you can build with this don't leave that annoying flat hang off on a slight down hill. Instead, you can shape the hill with the wall as you build it! While, yes, it does take longer to build a wall with these palisades, it really fills you with that immersion hole in your heart while defending your base. They butt up fairly close to one another, or you can leave a slight gap to really give that realism and feel to building your defenses.

The only complaint I have about this mod is that the lighting acts very strange against the wall as it grows. leaving a weird blob of shadow? or perhaps a coloring issue? Not entirely sure what it is, and it is not game breaking in any way.

That being said, this mod is 100% worth using! Immersive beautiful walls, and great for really shaping your village... or kingdom!

I have not tried this yet but i was wondering, is it possible to make wall/fence building be done in the same manner that building roads is? Like placing the start and then building in the curves and connections?
