Handheld Binumeral Counter

Standard laboratory issue for all A.R.D.A. funded labs. Several hundred were made for researchers across the zone, before its abandonment. In production from 1965 - 1971, they weren't the most used, due to their easy replacement by standard calculators, however in very specific tasks and research, they were considered handy. However, their specificity and selective nature made them unorthodox in practice.

Generally speaking, their only redeeming quality was the fact that their screens lit up, thus it was sometimes common to see them in a researchers bag during night expeditions.

The first counter on screen is increased by pressing "A" on the keyboard or the top button.

The second counter is increased by pressing "S", or the lower button.


Note: The description, design, and gadget, while meant to sound like a historical overview, were both created and thought of by me. This gadget was not based off of a real life preexisting technology.
